OpenWrt Project: Welcome to the OpenWrt Project
What is OpenWrt? OpenWrt is described as a Linux distribution for embedded devices. Instead of trying to create a single, static firmware, OpenWrt provides a fully writable filesystem with package management. This frees you from the application selection and configuration provided by the vendor and allows you to customize the device through the use of packages to suit any application. For developer, OpenWrt is the framework to build an application without having to build a complete firmware around it; for users this means the ability for full customization, to use the device in ways never envisioned. > Supported Devices

- Flash OS images to SD cards & USB drives Ubuntu images (and potentially some other related GNU/Linux distributions) have a peculiar format that allows the image to boot without any further modification from both CDs and USB drives. A consequence of this enhancement is that some programs, like parted get confused about the drive's format and partition table, printing warnings such as: /dev/xxx contains GPT signatures, indicating that it has a GPT table. However, it does not have a valid fake msdos partition table, as it should. Perhaps it was corrupted -- possibly by a program that doesn't understand GPT partition tables. Or perhaps you deleted the GPT table, and are now using an msdos partition table.

wall m0n0wall is a project aimed at creating a complete, embedded firewall software package that, when used together with an embedded PC, provides all the important features of commercial firewall boxes (including ease of use) at a fraction of the price (free software). m0n0wall is based on a bare-bones version of FreeBSD, along with a web server, PHP and a few other utilities. The entire system configuration is stored in one single XML text file to keep things transparent. m0n0wall is probably the first UNIX system that has its boot-time configuration done with PHP, rather than the usual shell scripts, and that has the entire system configuration stored in XML format. In m0n0wall 1.8.1, the base system has been switched to FreeBSD 8.4 for better support of recent hardware, and there have been significant improvements, new features and bug fixes in many areas.

Donations lte-sim - An open source framework to simulate LTE networks. LTE-Sim is an open source framework to simulate LTE networks. It encompasses several aspects of LTE networks, including both the Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access (E-UTRAN) and the Evolved Packet System (EPS). It supports single and multi-cell environments, QoS management, multi users environment, user mobility, handover procedures, and frequency reuse techniques. Three kinds of network nodes are modeled: user equipment (UE), evolved Node B (eNB) and Mobility Management Entity/Gateway (MME/GW). Four different traffic generators at the application layer have been implemented and the management of data radio bearer is supported.

Gemini (protocol) TCP/IP application layer protocol The Gemini protocol is an application layer protocol for distributed hypertext information systems that provides access to simple, primarily textual documents in Gemini space. This is done with contemporary technologies such as TLS, thereby improving privacy and user agency relative to the Web. Servers run by default on port 1965. The protocol is being designed collaboratively and is not currently being standardized as an internet standard. Network Monitoring Tools Les Cottrell, SLAC. SHR is a GNU/Linux based operating system for smartphones and similar mobile devices. It integrates various Free and Open Source Software projects into a versatile platform - flexible enough to run on a vast selection of mobile hardware such as the Openmoko Neo Freerunner, Goldelico OpenPhoenux (GTA04), Nokia N900 and more. The SHR build system is based on OpenEmbedded - well known from the Yocto project. For telephony, networking, etc. the freesmartphone.org framework is used. On top of that an easy to use graphical interface centered around the Enlightenment libraries is used to provide phone calls, messaging and pim.

Joining Gemini Space and Reading Over Encrypted Connection Without Unnecessary Clutter Joining Gemini Space and Reading Over Encrypted Connection Without Unnecessary Clutter Summary: Gemini space (some spell it Geminispace) is expanding and software for browsing Gemini capsules (client/browser) has matured to the point where it’s very easy to join in, no matter what operating system one uses WITH over 100,000 page requests from 1,100 unique addresses ( in less than 4 weeks we’ve convinced ourselves that Gemini protocol isn’t a waste of time and isn’t a passing fad.
