Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos Recipe

One of the best grilled appetizers is bacon wrapped jalapeno peppers. This recipe is so easy to make and it only consist of 3 ingredients; fresh jalapenos peppers, cream cheese, and bacon. The jalapeno peppers are first sliced in half then seeded, stuffed with cream cheese, wrapped with bacon and grilled. You should consider wearing gloves when slicing and seeding the jalapenos because they can burn your hands. With the play offs coming up and the super bowl near this is a perfect recipe for game day. Enjoy. Ingredients: 6 fresh jalapeno peppers (halved lengthwise and seeded) 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese 12 slices bacon Cooking Instructions: Step 1: Pre-heat an outdoor grill to high heat. Step 2: Place onto the grill and cook until the bacon is crispy.

*Simply Scratch*: Parmesan Garlic Bread: - StumbleUpon Last week was a busy week filled with a field trip to the zoo sandwiched by 3 twelve hour shifts. By Friday I was extremely happy for the weekend to arrive. Although Pat worked late, we still barbecued dinner and relaxed with a few adult beverages after tucking in our girls. Tonight he made a special request… for garlic bread. This garlic bread beats the store bought kind by a mile. It super easy to whip up and only takes a few minutes under the broiler. Here are the ingredients you will need. Start by pressing the three cloves of garlic into a medium bowl. Mince up a shallot so it measures one tablespoon. Add the shallot to the garlic in the medium bowl. Next, mince up the fresh parsley and measure out a tablespoon. Add that to the bowl along with the salt and pepper. Now add the *gasp* two sticks of butter and the two tablespoons {give or take} of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Mix until combined. And set aside, just for now. Grab your loaf of Italian bread. Remove and slice immediately.

Appetizer Recipe: Atomic Buffalo Turds - BBQ Addicts Cooking up a barbecue feast for your friends and family can (and will) be an all day affair. Depending on the size of your cut, briskets and pork butts can take every bit of 18 hours to slow smoke to perfection. As much as I like starving myself all day in anticipation of the gluttony that’s soon to come, my willpower tends to falter somewhere around the noon hour. Since the smoker is already chugging away, there’s no need to power up the oven for that well deserved mid-day snack. Instead, I prefer to toss in a few stuffed jalapeno peppers…especially the ones dubbed “Atomic Buffalo Turds”!!! These smokey treats are really easy to prepare, and you may even have most of the ingredients hanging out in your fridge already: 12 fresh jalapeno peppers 12 slices of bacon 24 little smokies 1 package of cream cheese (room temperature) 2 tsp paprika 1 tsp cayenne pepperSweet barbecue rub To start the construction of the atomic buffalo turds, you’ll first want to wash and trim the jalapeno peppers.

Pepperoni Pizza Monkey Bread How do you make bread even better? You stuff it with pepperoni and cheese. Then, you bake it in a bundt pan that allows you to pull off little chunks and dip them in pizza sauce. This bread takes a little bit of time to prepare, but in about half an hour I had filled my bundt pan with little dough balls, each with a piece of pepperoni and cheese stuffed within it. My new definition of bliss: warm dough with a cheesy center and a bite of pepperoni. Pepperoni Pizza Monkey Breadfrom Confections of a Foodie BrideIngredients: -2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced -4 tbsp butter -2 lbs pizza dough (I used 2 balls of Trader Joe's fresh dough) -6 oz. mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes (about 48 pieces) -pepperoni (about 48 slices) -2-3 cups marinara sauce for serving Directions: 1. 3. 4. Baked Egg Boat recipe Breakfast is my favorite meal. I like to drink iced coffee and watch the cream climb its way down the chunky ice cubes in a dazy before the caffeine hits. I like to order bacon with whatever I’m eating. I like eating potatoes with ketchup. I like eggs over easy, and fluffy scrambled eggs. Baked Egg BoatsMakes 4 Ingredients: 4 demi sourdough baguettes 5 eggs 1/3 cup heavy cream 4 ounces pancetta, finely chopped and fried until crisp 3 ounces gruyere cheese, grated 2 green onions, thinly slicedsalt and pepper to tasteDirections: 1. make-your-own-pizza party - hollywood housewife When we have the whole extended family at the lake each July, we each take a night to provide dinner, because otherwise trying to coordinate dinner for 25 people every evening is too arduous. This year my sister-in-law did a make-your-own-pizza dinner and it was so genius that I blatantly stole the idea and had one of my own over the weekend. It's so easy, and great for groups. Here's how I did it: After rolling out a big 'ole sheet of butcher paper onto my kitchen island, I plunked all the ingredients right on top and wrote the instructions on the paper. (I actually used painters paper from Home Depot because that's what I had in the garage.) We grilled the pizzas instead of baking them, saving tons of time and mess. Guests were instructed to coat their naan with olive oil to avoid burning on the grill. Then, toppings! There was pizza sauce, obviously (I just used Ragu pizza sauce - shhhhhh, don't tell) and loads of cheese. Our friends loved it!

Cruftbox When Intelligentsia Coffee opened in Pasadena recently, I was intrigued the lasagna cupcakes they served. The cupcakes are made by Heirloom LA, a catering business. About the size of a muffin, a single lasagna cupcake was a delicious meal. After seeing how much my daughter enjoyed them (she ate my entire cupcake and I had to order a second one), I decided I had to try making them at home. After a bit of research, here is my method. The ingredients are fairly simple. Spray or wipe the cupcake tin with olive oil for prevent sticking and add a little flavor. Once you filled in the first layer, gently press another wrapper in, forming another cup. Once you've placed the second wrapper, repeat the filling as you see fit. A bit of Mozzarella cheese on top of it all. I baked them for 20 minutes at 375° F and then come out perfectly browned. If you remembered to use olive oil, they should slide out easily with top crispy and the wrapper moist and tender. The small cupcake size works well for us.
