Grab & Go Breakfast Muffins - Ring Finger Tan LineRing Finger Tan Line Up until a few weeks ago, I had quite the morning routine – pretend that I was clean, pick out something to wear that I would inevitably freeze to death in, and purchase a scrumptious breakfast wrap filled with avocado, egg whites, and oozy cheese on my way to work. It was delightful. That is, until it wasn’t. One day, I went to pick up my breakfast wrap, and the wrap-making man asked me to remove my headphones. Kitchen Window: Corn, East Indian Style This recipe is adapted from Modern Spice by Monica Bhide (Simon & Schuster 2009). These small patties take practice to make perfect. Make sure the peanuts are not ground too fine. There should be small pieces in the mix. Fry on medium heat to make them perfectly crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside.

Doughnuts! « KitchenMason I remember an episode of The Great British Bake off where the contestants had to make doughnuts for the technical challenge. The one thing that stuck in my mind was Paul Hollywood saying, “The main thing I’m looking for is a white ring around the middle. It’s the sign of a good doughnut.” I was aiming for that elusive white ring… and guess what? Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles I think it is safe to say that most of us have eaten our fair share of raw cookie dough. When I was a kid, my mother would purchase cookie dough balls from our school Market Day program. I think I ate more dough balls than freshly baked cookies:) However, with the safety issues of raw egg consumption, recipes have been created for us to have our raw cookie dough and eat it too. The only way to make it better is to cover it in chocolate--yum! Many recipes for cookie dough truffles call for sweetened condensed milk. I don't use that in my actual cookie dough, so I use David Lebovitz's recipe for cookie dough.
