Musica & Memoria / Radio pirata e radio libere A questo punto il passo successivo era quasi naturale, passare dalla comunicazione uno a uno alla comunicazione uno a molti, cioè broadcast; gli apparati non erano molto diversi, produttori e distributori e negozi più o meno gli stessi, l'antenna doveva essere più grande e gli investimenti un po' superiori, ma ormai ci eravamo, e la tolleranza delle autorità travolte dai CB garantiva la impunità. In pochi anni, o forse pochi mesi, tutte le frequenze disponibili, almeno nelle grandi città, vennero occupate da decine di radio libere, anzi non era frequente il caso di frequenze occupate da due radio, di radio che trasmettevano volutamente fuori dalle regole, in sovramodulazione, per sopravanzare le altre radio vicine e che, anche in un'area contigua, trasmettevano sulla stessa frequenza.

Studiare Tommaso Labranca e il cialtronismo Sono reduce da un’esperienza che spezza le vene delle mani e mescola il sangue col sudore se te ne rimane: la scrittura di un manuale-antologia di letteratura per le scuole superiori. Il volume sul Novecento è una boccata d’ossigeno, perché uno può introdurre qualche variazione, qualche novità, mentre prima è tutto praticamente scolpito nella pietra (Dante-Petrarca-Boccaccio-Umanesimo-Ariosto eccetera); ma è anche un rischio, perché se s’introducono troppe variazioni, troppe novità, gli insegnanti si sentono spiazzati, e non adottano il manuale-antologia. Così uno dei molti dubbi che mi hanno agitato, nelle settimane in cui lavoravo al “canone del secondo Novecento” è stato: mettere o non mettere un estratto da Chaltron Hescon di Tommaso Labranca? Quasi vent’anni fa, in Chaltron Hescon. Esempi: Hemingway (a sprazzi), Toscanini (a sprazzi), Walter Veltroni. Quanto al cialtronismo, invece, non abbiamo imparato la lezione. Gli anni non lo hanno addolcito. Labranca invece è intelligente.
