MAPP Online Pro The ability to predict the performance of a sound system is indispensable to system designers in every application. Meyer Sound combined rigorous scientific techniques and careful, high-resolution measurements with direct input from leading designers and years of experience to produce the MAPP Online Pro acoustical prediction program. Based on a patented method, MAPP Online Pro is a powerful, cross-platform, Java-based application for accurately predicting the coverage pattern, frequency response, impulse response, and maximum SPL output of single or arrayed Meyer Sound loudspeakers. Residing on the user’s local computer, the Java client application facilitates configuring arrays of a wide variety of Meyer Sound products and, optionally, defining the environment in which they will operate, including air temperature, pressure and humidity, as well as the location and composition of surfaces. Most 2D CAD (.DXF) files can be imported directly for accurate venue definition.

Commute Map In Traffic: Why We Drive the Way We Do (and What It Says About Us), the author states that commute times throughout history have remained steady at roughly a half hour in each direction. Advances in transportation technology (our feet, horses, bicycles, trains, automobiles, flying cars, etc.) allow us to live farther from where we work. This got me thinking about my own commute from Berkeley to San Francisco, how it compares to those of my neighbors, and how commutes vary across the country. This visualization draws a red circle at the center of each zip code indicating the number of people who travel to or from that area. The blue lines show the driving directions.

Phenomenology of rhythm in design Abstract Rhythm in design, as explored in this research, is proposed to be the result of cognitive performance generated stylistically by creators and recognized consciously by beholders. This study describes the phenomenon of rhythm; how it is created; the factors that comprise rhythm; the types of rhythms created by human cognition of repetition, and why repetition is recognized as a part of human cognition. s Audio Editor - myna Developers Add Aviary to your app Photo Editor by Aviary Otomata - Generative Musical Sequencer - Earslap 16 Jul 2011 Click on the grid below to add cells, click on cells to change their direction, and press play to listen to your music. The Night That Modern Live Sound Was Born People + Opinion : Artists / Engineers / Producers / Programmers One night in 1970, the Grateful Dead found themselves without a sound system or soundman, and Bob Heil found himself the man of the moment. Dan Daley It's the kind of thing that physicists and palaeontologists dream about: being able to look back and determine the exact moment that a star or a dinosaur came into being. For the contemporary live sound business, that moment was the night of 2nd February 1970 at the Fox Theatre in St. 12/8 Tower los angeles CALIFORNIA Art Center College of Design Media Design Practices MFA Program suckerPUNCH: Describe your project.
