Get flash to fully experience Pearltrees
Ok, so I don't know if this was worth a promotion to 8.0, but it makes a good marker for me when dealing with it. I have added a couple new settings to the web interface and worked out a couple kinks I had come across. It also includes an extension for firefox to switch flash versions and complete instructions. This was basically just a first go for me at getting familiar with the code of this project, so there will be more to come.

you can download it from this page http://hak5.org/foru...showtopic=12047 posted by ZigZagJoe direct link to his download http://zzj.itf-inc.c...02c1.008dDS.zip and if your feeling a bit lazy and want a single out of the box solution then my installers work well for that (it does all of the install and setup work for you and adds a single desktop icon (optional) which launches both sproxy and firefox portable http://hak5.org/foru...showtopic=11619 (on my installer by default i have it set for manual rip via the download button, (easier to rip the 5 songs you like instead of having it auto rip 200 songs and you have to manually delete the 195 songs you don't like, and since pandora saver caches the last 50 songs, you have up to 6 hours to grab a song that you missed if needed)

Windows only: Save streaming Pandora tracks as MP3s with Pandora's Jar, a new Java-based utility. More sophisticated than 3tunes , a similar program we looked at a few months back, Pandora's Jar actually has an interface, one that appends itself to the Pandora player. You can save the currently playing track just by clicking Grab This Track, or enable "cruise control" to save all tracks automatically.
The term voice changer (also known as voice enhancer) refers to a system of altering a person's voice to either make them sound like someone else or to disguise their voice. Voice changers change the tone or pitch, add distortion to the user's voice, or a combination of all of the above and vary greatly in price and sophistication. A kazoo / didgeridoo can be used as a makeshift voice changer, though it can be difficult to understand what the person is trying to say. [ edit ] Hardware Implementations The earliest voice changers were electronic devices usually used over the telephone for the purpose of disguise.
Websites such as Deezer , Pandora , imeem , Last.fm ( and others ) all serve free streaming music – often bundled with certain restrictions that reduce their convenience to users. A number of separate various applications exist to download music from specific sites (such as Freezer which exists to download from Deezer, Jiwa, and imeem only. Or tools like VidToMP3 that can convert Youtube videos to MP3 .), so their range is limited. Today we’ll show you an all-inclusive method that can download songs from Pandora and most, if not all, websites.

Dear Lifehacker, Spotify just updated with a new "Artist Radio" feature, but it's pretty limited. Is there any way I can get a more control over those recommendations, like in iTunes Genius or Pandora? Sincerely, Deprived of Direction Photo remixed from an original by Rafael Kage Dear Deprived, The new radio function in Spotify is pretty nice: you just go to an artist's page, hit the "Artist Radio" button, and it'll play music for you.
by Rick Broida Click to view Last week we took a big step toward improving your MP3 collection by leveling the track volume . Now it's time to focus on album art , which is less of a practical improvement and more of a fun one. Indeed, there's something to be said for eyeballing an album cover when you play a song.
Imagine a music app with instant access to any song you wanted to hear. Imagine creating a playlist from those songs and quickly, easily sharing it with friends. Such an app does exist, it's called Spotify , and it could change music forever. Hyperbole alert! I admit it, I'm over-the-moon about Spotify—both over what it currently is and more importantly over the potential it has. If you get a chance to try it out, I think you may feel the same way.
Whether you're getting your game on, hopping into a Google Hangout, or videoconferencing with friends or coworkers, you need a good headset to hear the action and be heard by other people listening. The trouble is, there are tons of great options. This week we want to know which headset (with an attached microphone) you think is the best all-around model for the job—one that offers great audio quality and voice clarity to the people on the other end. It can be tricky to find headsets that don't totally trade audio quality and comfort for voice quality (or vice-versa), but there are some great ones out there. Keep in mind we'll select based on brand—not necessarily specific model number, unless there's overwhelming love for a specific device.
