Physion - Physics Simulation Software

Physion - Physics Simulation Software
Physion is a 2D Physics simulation software. It can be used to easily create a wide range of interactive physics simulations and educational experiments. Teachers may find it particularly useful since it can be used as a virtual physics laboratory through which they can demonstrate some basic physics concepts in the classroom. The user, using the tools of Physion, can create various physical objects (circles, polygons, gears, etc.) and joints (eg. springs, pulleys etc.) that obey the laws of Physics. This way the user can experiment by creating various scenes/scenarios which can be either simple physics experiments or complex structures/mechanisms like the ones shown in the video below Physion also allows the users to execute their own scripts/programs in JavaScript.

Ten Ways to Find Free Textbooks Online Going to university is expensive, and textbooks can make the bill go even higher. However, you don't have to break the bank to finance a good education; there are plenty of places on the Web where you can find and download free online books for nearly any class available. Here are ten sources on the Web you can use to find free content for many college classes, all freely available to either download and print offline or view online in your browser. 1. Use Google The first place to start when looking for a textbook is Google, using the filetype command.

OnLineLabs ChemLab There is a fee for this one, but it is well worth the price! They are truly interactive and you can design your own simulations! Go to the downloads page for a free evaluation trial Dartmouth ChemLab This site has some very good interactive virtual labs plus a terrific interactive periodic table! scripting:introduction [Physion] Physion scripting is based on the ECMAScript scripting language, as defined in standard ECMA-262. Microsoft's JScript, and Netscape's JavaScript are also based on the ECMAScript standard. For an overview of ECMAScript, see Qt's ECMAScript reference. With Physion scripting you can do the following:

Physics Flash Animations We have been increasingly using Flash animations for illustrating Physics content. This page provides access to those animations which may be of general interest. The animations will appear in a separate window. The animations are sorted by category, and the file size of each animation is included in the listing.
