Alternatively, what do you get if you take two internationally influenced Europeans with a passion for change and creativity in a time of conservative values and measures? Art Carpets Cleto Munari and Friends - MORET In 1972, by a chance encounter, Carlo Scarpa—already a famous architect at the time—welcomed Cleto Munari in his home in Vicenza. From then onwards, Munari spent each day with the master, in order to see him work, meet his acquaintances, and develop his creations. This friendship and esteem lasted until the passing of the great master, who designed what have become legendary items for Munari: his cutlery, carafe, and centrepieces.

The leathers, some recycled, are treated with sophisticated tanning systems. Icons by Jan Plechac photo by Tomas Brabec When we think of iconic furniture pieces, pieces such as the Louis Chair, the 101 year old Kubus Chair by Josef Hoffmann, the Red Blue Chair (1917) by Gerrit Rietveld, the Eames Walnut Stool, and the Fatboy Chair will definitely cross your minds among others. Czech designer Jan Plechac deals with these iconic furniture pieces in a graphic attempt through the study of lines. Red Blue Chair, photo by Kristina Hrabetova The Icons seating furniture collection is a challenge to delete the fine line which distinguishes exterior and interior furniture, and furthermore interior and exterior as such.

Welcome to Living Divani official homepage Perfect, harmonious proportions and a feeling of understated luxury are the distinguishing features of Living Divani, the dynamic and vibrant family-owned company that has made its trademark of upholstery.Since the early 1970s, the company has followed a clear path, maintaining an intensive dialogue with the contemporary world and becoming one of the landmarks in the design landscape. Strategic is the alliance with Piero Lissoni who, since 1988 has led the firm’s unique style in his dual role as art director and designer. “When I design, I interact with the company seeking to express at best, with my own language, its necessity”, says the architect who for Living Divani has combined its distinctive style made of discretion and formal neutrality, lightness and dynamism, with a calibrated, essential design, which merge purity of lines and shapes with ergonomics and comfort.

Carlo Rampazzi - Archello Carlo Rampazzi, architect and designer was born in Ascona in 1949: although holder of a Swiss passport, he has always felt citizen of the world. Very early on, his interests started focusing on furniture and design and he received a diploma in architecture and interior decoration at the Universities of Lugano and Paris. A cosmopolitan by vocation, he refined his aesthetic taste by traveling and exploring different worlds and cultures: it is surely not by chance that his projects (private dwellings, boutiques, grand hotels, spas, yachts, commercial spaces) are disseminated at the four corners of the globe, in Europe, America, Asia, in the Middle and Far East. Carlo Rampazzi wishes to dress houses and apartments as he dresses himself, that is, with a style that is in no way related to an age or a fashion.
