Art of Illusion is a free, open source 3D modelling and rendering studio. Many of its capabilities rival those found in commercial programs. Highlights include subdivision surface based modelling tools, skeleton based animation, and a graphical language for designing procedural textures and materials.. The current version is 3.0, released Sept. 23, 2013. This version is both stable and powerful enough to be used for serious, high end animation work. Click here to download the program.

When you mouse over the image the foreground images fades from completely transparent to completely opaque (solid). In this way the user sees the background (underneath) image first and as the foreground (top) images starts to fade in it appears that the background image fades to become the top image. The background image is the "off" image as it is viewed on page load. The foreground (top) image is the "on" image. <--- Mouse Over Here

10 Free and useful computer-aided design software computer-aided design (CAD) is a combination of computer programs and systems that allow engineers and architects to design detailed two- or three-dimensional models of physical objects, such as mechanical parts, buildings, and molecules. It specially used to design curves and figures in two-dimensional (“2D”) space; or curves, surfaces, and solids in three-dimensional (“3D”) objects. There are so many “free” CAD programs out there but only a handful are either really free or useful. Here is 10 Free and useful computer-aided design software. Archimedes

Scratch for Second Life What is Scratch for Second Life (S4SL)? S4SL is a new easy way to add behaviors and interactivity to your objects in Second Life. S4SL is based on Scratch, a graphical programming language that lets you construct programs by snapping together graphical blocks. With S4SL, you can snap together a few blocks to make your SL pet interact with you using chat commands, make your sculpture change size and color, or make your house respond to your presence. **GOOD SERVICE**Animations – Sketchfab Help Center The animation feature allows you to upload animated 3D files and have them play on Sketchfab. Uploading animation files Uploading animated 3D files isn’t different from uploading regular 3D files. If you need help exporting animation, refer to Exporting, or check your software documentation. Animation is currently only supported for FBX and BLEND formats. We support: 3D printing - Wikipedia (US) 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing (AM), refers to processes used to synthesize a three-dimensional object[1] in which successive layers of material are formed under computer control to create an object.[2] Objects can be of almost any shape or geometry and are produced from digital model data 3D model or another electronic data source such as an Additive Manufacturing File (AMF) file. Futurologist Jeremy Rifkin[3] claimed that 3D printing or AM signals the beginning of a third industrial revolution,[4] succeeding the production line assembly that dominated manufacturing starting in the late 19th century. The term 3D printing has its origin sense, 3D printing in reference to a process that deposits a binder material onto a powder bed with inkjet printer heads layer by layer.
