CRÉA Ora-Ito - En When we look at retro modern scenes ~ the future as imagined back in the 60s ~ the jetson’s styled stuff… i keep wondering where our gorgeous image of the future we’ll look back on in 50 years is, and will still wish we had (if we don’t already have it by then!)… then i saw this EVO-mobil design by Ora-Ito for Citroën… or even more impressive, i was won over by the photoshoot of it with actress Mylène Jampanoï for the stunningly artistic automotive mag, Intersection… and i wish i lived in that reality! Its so beautiful! Robert Wilson, Tom Waits & William S. Burroughs - The Black Rider (1992) Duration: 136'13" This is a TVRip of the Austrian broadcast of the original Black Rider musical, performed in 1990 as part of the Wiener Festwochen. There is a 7-minute introduction in German, and the dialogue and music is in both German and English. The Black Rider: The Casting of the Magic Bullets is a self-billed "musical fable" in the avant-garde tradition created through the collaboration of theatre director Robert Wilson, musician Tom Waits, and writer William S. Burroughs.

Fortress Of Solitude: Is Apple’s New iHub True To The Brand's Vision? Last week, tech giant Apple’s new corporate "spaceship" received initial approval by Cupertino’s planning commission—final city council votes will happen in May. The colossal building, designed by renowned UK firm Foster + Partners, is already (in)famous for its monolithic O shape, garnering attention at the level of any other Apple product in the last decade. Indeed, the iHub looks to be just that: the quintessential example of architecture as product and a potent symbol for the power of shrewd branding. Apple is under heightened scrutiny following the death of its founder and marketing figurehead, Steve Jobs. The unprecedented success story of the technology firm was attributed to him alone, and as a result, each "post-Jobs" product is ruthlessly examined for cracks, despite the fact that the company is as famous for its unblemished image as for the quality of its products.

Gean Moreno, Farewell to Function: Tactical Interiors / Journal Gean Moreno Disorientation: We Are Almost There Many of the more prominent artworks produced in the last decade or so are characterized by a recasting of what were once called installations as something closer to interiors, relegating the installation to a supportive role that places meaning in the service of activity. From an artwork spread out everywhere we turn to one that is located very precisely in the features that can be said to make up the space—the walls, the furnishings, the floor coverings, the display structures, the shelves.
