Honey Mustard Chicken with Bacon and Mushrooms

Honey Mustard Chicken with Bacon and Mushrooms
“This is probably my favorite way to eat chicken.” That’s a quote from my husband the last time I made Honey Mustard Chicken with Bacon and Mushrooms for dinner. Marinate some chicken breasts in honey, mustard, and lemon, then top with bacon, mushrooms and cheese… How could that go wrong? I love to serve this dish with a side of oven fries and a crisp lettuce salad. It’s a meal full of flavor! Begin by making the marinade for the chicken. Here’s what you’ll need for the toppings: sliced fresh mushrooms, mostly cooked bacon (it will cook more when baked in the oven), grated cheddar, and fresh parsley. After the chicken has marinated, heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet. Scrape out the pan, and toss in the mushrooms. Assemble the chicken in a large baking dish. After baking for about 20 minutes, chop up some fresh parsley and sprinkle atop before serving! Kodachrome Curtains - Updated! Now with lampy goodness! So, it's been a while since I've made anything Craftster-worthy, but my husband and I busted out the Dremel tool a few days ago and we made this: It's a pair of curtains made out of old Kodachrome slides! I'm really interested in photography, and will buy old cameras in antique and thrift stores in order to develop film that's inside of it. From time to time, I'll find collections of old slides and will buy those, too.

recipe: buffalo chicken ring I love all things made with Frank’s Red Hot (or any hot sauce, really. But especially Frank’s Red Hot) I also love cheese. And crescent rolls. And ranch dressing. So this recipe? Is basically my dream come true. Orange Chicken Recipe Today I’m back with yet another Chinese-American dish – Orange Chicken. It seems as though you can find orange chicken almost anywhere you want to eat these days. It is most commonly found at fast food restaurants, but don’t worry, this is so much better than anything you will find there. Black Pepper-Garlic Chicken Here's one on my favorite Stir-fry recipes, inspired by Black Pepper Chicken served at Panda Express Restaurants. The savory sauce took a bit of tinkering, but I think this copycat version is really close... and it's delicious, too! Please... don't forget to start this recipe with Velveted Chicken. It's a very simple technique that'll turn any Chicken Stir-fry into a mouth-watering Asian masterpiece! Ingredients: 1 lb.

Prime Rib Recipe 1 Remove the beef roast from the refrigerator 3 hours before you start to cook it. Sprinkle it with salt all over and let it sit, loosely wrapped in the butcher paper. Roasts should be brought close to room temperature before they go into the oven, to ensure more even cooking. 2 If your butcher hasn't already done so, cut the bones away from the roast and tie them back on to the roast with kitchen string. This will make it much easier to carve the roast, while still allowing you to stand the roast on the rib bones while cooking. How to wrap a gift: Use tissue paper for a... Photo by Roberto Caruso I’m giving away trade secrets here. You know those beautiful floral looking decorations you sometimes see in magazines hovering over a festive table? Or in a kid’s room, re-invented as a mobile? They’re little more than a few sheets of tissue paper and take about ten minutes of your time to create.

Spaghetti and Meatball Pot Pie - StumbleUpon Remember those meatballs I made for a “special idea” on Friday? Here is that idea, Spaghetti and Meatball Pot Pie. I took the concept and figured if pizza was a good pot pie, then spaghetti and meat balls would be too. This isn't as much a recipe as it is a process. Honey Sesame Chicken Somehow I have gotten on this Asian kick lately and I'm loving every bit of it. I am finding out just how easy making these meals are and they all are so yummy! I'm also pretty darn proud of myself for totally keeping to my meal plan this week. Sriracha Honey Lime Chicken Recipe - i am a food blog The weather’s warming up and long weekends are on the horizon. You know what that means…grill season! I know I say I love a lot of things, but I really, really love summer barbecues.

LaSaGnA TiMpAnO I went to see tUnE-yArDs on Monday night with some friends, and as always we wanted to cook a meal that somehow related to the show we were heading to. Sometimes this is hard to do, but other times it seems to come naturally. Finding culinary inspiration in Merrill's lyrics seemed like it would be tough, but my sister knew what she wanted to make without hesitation.

Rose and Feather Hair Clip Tutorial I love this hair pin, so sweet. Fit for tea time, no? Or maybe stopping to smell the flowers… or the blue spruces…whatever suits your fancy. One things for sure, it will surely upgrade any ponytail. Grilled Chicken and Apple Sandwich Recipe - Grilled Sandwiches Recipes Canned Chicken Sandwiches Recipies This sandwich cooks beautifully either on a nonstick skillet or in your George Foreman dual sided indoor grill. It's one of my favorites. Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes Kaytucky Chicken I have a really fun recipe for you! And easy, too. It’s hardly any work; the oven does the work for you, but it’s a really fun and tasty way to serve chicken for a change. Serve with an Avocado & Fennel Salad, lots of skillet baked potatoes and a little Green Peppercorn Sauce, but that’s mainly because I’m seriously addicted to how the sauce tastes on potatoes. This was absolutely delicious! Directions:

Balsamic BBQ Glazed Chicken A homemade balsamic bbq sauce is used to glaze chicken as it’s grilling. The result is tender chicken with a slightly sweet, and tangy taste. Summer is one of my favorite seasons for one simple reason: grilling. We finally invested in a Big Green Egg last year and it completely changed the way I think about grilling. I could go on and on about it, but I won’t, because I’m sure I’ll be talking plenty about it in a few months when it’s not cold and wet here in the Midwest, and we actually get out to use it.
