Kaytucky Chicken

Kaytucky Chicken
I have a really fun recipe for you! And easy, too. It’s hardly any work; the oven does the work for you, but it’s a really fun and tasty way to serve chicken for a change. Serve with an Avocado & Fennel Salad, lots of skillet baked potatoes and a little Green Peppercorn Sauce, but that’s mainly because I’m seriously addicted to how the sauce tastes on potatoes. This was absolutely delicious! Directions: 4 chicken fillets 4 frozen puff pastry sheets 4 oz cream cheese (the firm kind) few rashes of bacon flat-leaf parsley 1 spring onion 1 large egg pepper salt This is what we call ontbijtspek here. I’ve also chopped a spring onion with my cute orange baby Santoku. And I’ve finely chopped a small handful of flat-leaf parsley. Add the spring onions, parsley, crumbled up bacon and a good pinch of pepper to 4 oz firm cream cheese; I’ve opted for low-fat cream cheese. Mix it all up. Make a fairly deep cut in each chicken fillet. Until I ended up with puff pastry looking like this. Kay’s Recipe Card

It’s all about the side dishes Hi Everyone, they can make or break a meal. Very often, they are the most memorable things about a meal; without them, let’s just say that your meal will be average with the ham, turkey, roast pork, beef or chicken all standing alone. Lonely. Side dishes are headliners in their own right. Each holiday, whether it is Christmas, Easter, Eid, Diwali or Independence, the topic centres on food – what to cook, what traditional dishes to make and what new things to try. We get caught up in a frenzy of pre-ordering meat.

Cereal Breakfast Shake The kid and I have a new favorite breakfast shake. The first time I made this for him, he wasn’t really sure what to think. “Cereal in a milkshake is just weird, mom“, he whimpered as he sat there with a concerned look on his face, clenching his beloved Kellogg’s smacks box. In all honesty, he’s a great sport and always willing to try my somewhat strange dinner concoctions or soup brews, but you don’t want to be messin’ with the kid’s cereal. But then he tasted it… and loved every single sip. Ingredients:

When it comes to Marsala wine, my go to dish is naturally Chicken Marsala. I've made a few different versions but this Creamy Chicken Marsala Pasta is the most favorite of my husband. The creamy Marsala sauce with caramelized mushrooms and onions really make it even more comforting. It's a dish you can make during the week for family and it's even good enough for company...

Remove Ugly Scratches from Dinnerware with Bar Keeper's Friend As @emannths noted, one of the reasons behind the "magic" is oxalic acid. I mention this again because their reply was hidden by LifeHacker from a question (dunno why replies are hidden by default - odd). Annnywayyy... oxalic acid is also AWESOME on rust. It eats it. Make a paste with BKF and some water, "paint" it over the rust stains and let it sit for awhile.

Kicked Up Tuna Melts Is there something in your life that comes up seemingly out of the blue, but strangely happens every year? Ash Wednesday is like that for me. I know, there’s really no excuse, but I'm surprised every year. Why the problem? Well, my meal plan the Sunday before Ash Wednesday usually looks something like this: Monday, Macaroni and Cheese; Tuesday, Tortilla Soup; Wednesday, Beef Tacos; Thursday, Chinese Chicken; Friday, Pork Chops. Roaming Barista - Moka Pot The Moka Pot is a method of coffee preparation that involves heating water directly and forcing it upwards through a bed of coffee. The Moka Pot is too often refered to as a stove top espresso maker or a home espresso maker. Though espresso may have been its orignal intent it has come into its own as a coffee technique far different from the ways of espresso.
