It then robustly aligns all images and uses advanced blending algorithms to form seamless panoramas (see below). Designs are driven by the port bandwidth and quantity required at the edge, in addition to the ability of the distribution and core tiers to provide higher speed uplinks to aggregate traffic. Additional considerations include Ethernet broadcast boundaries and limitations, spanning tree or other loop-avoidance technologies. A dedicated management network is a frequent feature of advanced data center virtualization solutions.

Denim Jeans Tutorial using The GIMP « Random Ramblings, Tip & Tricks This is an adaptation of “Creating Denim in GIMP by *fence-post” from DeviantArt. I’ve changed it so it is relevant to texture creation in Second Life. But I encourage you to read or bookmark the original tutorial as well. This is a pretty advanced tutorial… It’s not recommended for anyone new to The GIMP, or to clothing creation. However, if you understand the basics of GIMP and the templates, this could be *just* the thing you are searching for to really bring your creations to life. The principles can be applied to ALL you future creations and you will probably benefit greatly from learning some of this stuff.

New Jeans for Second Life™ I've had Good Jeans in Second Life for some time, but lately people have been asking if they could have them without the heavy embroidery on the back pockets. Since I made some for myself like that (I didn't care for the embroidery with the Hawaiian shirts) I thought I'd go ahead and make them for everyone. After all, Hawaiian shirt season is coming up! So I made a batch, in the same colors as the Good Jeans, called Plain Pocket Jeans.

Its an awkward program to learn at first, but once you "get" the flexibility of using all those customizable windows, its pretty amazing.... Its also free and has a comunity of script and extension developers. Later versions have the single window tab view. by butterbeans Apr 9

bolotoved - Good to know what the Acronym stands for and the programming base. Thanks for that. by deadintoit Apr 8

guitar1997 - I primarily use Photoshop but as you pointed out with all the tutorials out there for GIMP it is great for providing a web client with a fully functional Graphics program they can use to do simpler stuff and it costs them nothing. - Thanks for your comment. by deadintoit Apr 8

GIMP is an acronym for GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed program for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring. GIMP is written and developed under X11 on UNIX platforms. But basically the same code also runs on MS Windows and Mac OS X. by bolotoved Apr 8
