Encore faut-il avoir les bons outils (logiciels de sécurité) qui permettront un examen ciblé, puis un diagnostic et éventuellement un traitement curatif adapté. Genius Homemade Device Turns Plastic Bottles Into String We’ve always felt that it was such a shame to just throw out plastic bottles in the recycling. There has to be something we can re-use them for, right? A Russian DIY-er has invented a genius device that turns plastic bottles into plastic string with virtually no effort. Going by the YouTube name of Адвокат Егоров, the inventor shows not only how to make the string, but how to make your own bottle-reusing device. The video shows that the device is capable of making the string in several different thicknesses. The inventor has used the string for a number of applications, but one of the most impressive is a fishing line replacement. After wrapping the handles – or using the plastic string to tie objects together – the application of heat makes the shrink a bit and pull tight, increasing its strength and durability.

Google's Android Reborn as Network-Hacking Kit The Pwn Pad Photo: Pwnie Express The folks at security tools company Pwnie Express have built a tablet that can bash the heck out of corporate networks. Called the Pwn Pad, it’s a full-fledged hacking toolkit built atop Google’s Android operating system. Pwnie Express will be selling the cool-looking hack machines — based on Google’s Nexus 7 tablets — for $795. They’ll be introduced at the RSA security conference in San Francisco next week, but Pwnie Express is also releasing the Pwn Pad source code, meaning that hackers can download the software and get it up and running on other types of Android phones and tablets. Some important hacking tools have already been ported to Android, but Pwnie Express says that they’ve added some new ones. “Every pen tester we know has a phone and a tablet and a laptop, but none of them has been able to do pen-testing from the tablet,” says Dave Porcello, Pwnie Express’s CEO. Analyze your IIS Log Files – Favorite Log Parser Queries – CarlosAg Blog The other day I was asked if I knew about a tool that would allow users to easily analyze the IIS Log Files, to process and look for specific data that could easily be automated. My recommendation was that if they were comfortable with using a SQL-like language that they should use Log Parser. Log Parser is a very powerful tool that provides a generic SQL-like language on top of many types of data like IIS Logs, Event Viewer entries, XML files, CSV files, File System and others; and it allows you to export the result of the queries to many output formats such as CSV (Comma-Separated Values, etc), XML, SQL Server, Charts and others; and it works well with IIS 5, 6, 7 and 7.5. To use it you just need to install it and use the LogParser.exe that is found in its installation directory (on my x64 machine it is located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Log Parser 2.2).
