Eevee+Substance A good demonstration of the flexibility Eevee offers is in the vertex paint assisted material-effects (rusted walls, puddles, terrain blending, etc.), Irradiance Cache (indirect lighting probes), and the non-uniform density in the volumetric fog. The material editor is an extremely powerful tool, here are some example uses of the material editor I employed in this project. Regarding the lighting, it was extremely easy to set up, I used area lights for subtle ambient lighting in the windows and doors, I used directional sunlight that was lined up with the HDRI map in the environment, and I added a handful of extra lights that don’t cast shadows to bring out more ambiance. I hope you found this breakdown informative, Blender is in an interesting place right now, and I see a lot of artists moving towards a software agnostic workflow. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for this wonderful piece of software.

Rebecca S waltzforluma: "Holo Pearl" from Steven the Swordfighter. This is a medley of all of Holo Pearl’s music in the episode. Since she’s a broken facsimile of Pearl, we used a glitchy piano and an erratic collection of sounds.Music: Aivi & SurasshuArt: Joe Johnston I love Holo Pearl’s fight theme so much. Aivi and Surasshu are always blowing my mind! Bertrand Dezoteux Karen J Lloyd's Storyboard Blog And we’re back! Here’s Part 2 of the interview I did with Pixar Story Artist Matthew Luhn. You can find Part 1 of Matthew’s interview here. Enjoy.

Animation with a moustache Posted on March 17, 2014 | Leave a CommentFiled under Animation Having moved back to London to work on a really cool cartoony game I can’t talk much of for now, I am currently focusing on life drawing and painting most of my evenings. London is probably the only place in the world where Life drawing classes happen pretty much every day. For that reason, I decided to start a new blog and I will be posting all sort of useful information I come across on it and I might even post some of my drawings. Hopefully you might find some information helpful .
