Are You Highly Sensitive? Read This As a highly sensitive person, I've always experienced life differently than most of those around me. Being designed this way kept me awake, so when I slipped off and started to do what everyone else was doing, choosing a stressful corporate job, taking care of everyone else before myself, and not taking care of my body with healthy foods and exercise, I got wake-up calls from all directions. But the biggest thing that was holding me back was that I had no awareness about how to heal my emotions and harness my gifts of empathy, being a visionary, and a deep desire to serve and make a difference in the world. Before I stepped onto my spiritual path of self-knowledge, I lived in a very limiting world in which I was cut off from my potential. When I became willing to see that I was creating my life experience through the lens of my perceptions, I began to release the beliefs and thoughts that were no longer serving me and connect with the love and happiness waiting for me within. 1. 2. 3. 4.

10 Simple Truths Smart People Forget Email Some of the smartest people I know continuously struggle to get ahead because they forget to address a few simple truths that collectively govern our potential to make progress. So here’s a quick reminder: #1 – Education and intelligence accomplish nothing without action. It doesn’t matter if you have a genius IQ and a PhD in Quantum Physics, you can’t change anything or make any sort of real-world progress without taking action. #2 – Happiness and success are two different things. I know an extremely savvy businesswoman who made almost a million dollars online last year. I also know a surfer who surfs almost all day, every day on the beach in front of our condo complex in San Diego. “What will make me happy?” #3 – Everyone runs their own business. No matter how you make a living or who you think you work for, you only work for one person, yourself. So how can you simultaneously save your time and increase your profit? is a good read on this topic. And that’s okay. Photo by: Alemdag

20 Things Life Is Too Short To Tolerate You don’t have to settle, it’s simply a choice you make every day. If you feel like you’re running in place there’s a good chance you’re tolerating things you shouldn’t be. It’s time to reclaim your life. Starting now, stop tolerating… People who bring you down. – Relationships should help you, not hurt you. Spend time with nice people who are smart, driven and likeminded.A work environment or career field you hate. – Don’t settle on the first or second career field you dabble in. And remember, you only live once, but if you live it right once is enough. How to Deal With Old, Repressed Memories : Personal Development with Fred Tracy Suddenly, I find myself standing in line, surrounded by a seemingly familiar cafeteria. I’m waiting my turn to order food. As I get closer and closer to the front of the line, I feel a vague sense of anxiety coming on. Finally, I’m at the front of the line. Halfway through my order , I forget what I’m saying entirely. Suddenly, I wake up. The Initial Experience That Triggered the Dream Lying there in bed, I began remembering a scene so long forgotten that the vividness with which it reappeared in my mind’s eye startled me. I was 11 years old, and it was the first day of middle school. I watched the memory play out in my mind as my young, 11-year-old self got in line for lunch. Sounding a little impatient, she quickly gave me a choice between three different items. Old Repressed Memories Coming up Again Apparently, this semi-dramatic experience became lodged deeply within my developing mind. And the truth is, we have hundreds, if not thousands of similar experiences. learn more about it.

The 4HWW vs. YMOYL | Single Mom Rich Mom The books The Four Hour Workweek and Your Money or Your Life have a few things in common: They both appeal to a person that doesn’t want to wait until they’re 65 to live a life where work doesn’t suck up 50+ hours a week of their lives. (That’s Me! And probably You!) They both advocate being as efficient about earning and spending money as possible – YMOYL through deferring gratification, saving and investing and the 4HWW through “having it all” now by building a “muse” business (that will run itself) or getting a job where you can lie to your employers and pretend that you’re working full-time. Before reading YMOYL years ago, I read every book I could get my hands on along the lines of Do What You Love and the Money Will Follow . Here are a few reasons why I preferred YMOYL over the 4HWW: YMOYL gives a “recipe” that ANYBODY can easily follow to reach financial independence.

5 Ways To Hack Your Brain Into Awesomeness Much of the brain is still mysterious to modern science, possibly because modern science itself is using brains to analyze it. There are probably secrets the brain simply doesn't want us to know. "SLEEEEEEEEEP... uh...
