Workshop on Challenges in Vertical Farming. CEUG. Programme and Abstracts: This is the fourth genuinely international meeting on controlled environments (CEs) for research in biology of plants and animals following the Canberra symposium in 1962 and the Littlehampton symposium of 1971.
It aims to foster the interaction between scientists and engineers, users and managers of CEs across the world. At the first international meeting at Norwich, England, in 2001, the emphasis was on the technology and practice of use of CEs, at the second at Brisbane, Australia, in 2004, the theme was “the Power to Control”, and at the third at Cocoa Beach, USA, in 2008, the emphasis was on controlled environment agriculture.
