Japanese Quince Flower There are many gorgeous Spring flowers that inspire a little bit of floral hooky, but I'm especially fond of these Japanese Quince flowers. They aren't deadly accurate, but a pretty good representation and well, they are good enough for me at any rate! Here is a picture of the real thing..... ...so pretty! My crochet version is very, very easy to make. Constructed in the same way as my May Rose, it is worked up in two rows, then curled and stitched into place. Crochet Flower Bracelet I received free samples of the crochet thread used in this project but was not financially compensated to use them. However, if you are interested in purchasing items from Wholeport, you can also help support my blog by purchasing through the affiliate links included in this post. You can read my full Disclosure Statement here. I wanted to make a special little gift for a special little girl. So what do little girls like … hmmm … pink, flowers, jewelry … yes!

But I thought I would share it with you again and show you how the owl squares are being used! I made them into an owl bunting for my friend Shannon's owl-themed gender reveal party! It was first displayed over the party food table... But now it sits over her daughters crib! They are expecting their baby girl in early January 2013 :)
