Even if you’re not an artist but are a true fan of the iPad, you will want to check out the unique, custom user interface of Paper. There are dozens of drawing apps in the iTunes Store, but Paper is about as near as it gets to an app that resembles an analog paper notebook. Math Apps for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad Yesterday, while browsing through the app store on iTunes, I came across a banner-style ad at the top of the page for apps that help you to learn math. I found this feature very helpful and decided to browse through some of the apps. The topics were broken down into sections including Numbers & Operation, Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Probability & Statistics, Applying Math, and Math Games. Each section provided a short list of apps to choose from based on the topic. I was happy to see that they included such a wide variety of math related topics that included teaching math to toddlers all the way through adulthood.

This is great but can be quite time consuming to learn and you need to find somewhere to put your activities online once you have created them. Learnclick is a very good alternative that can help to make this process quicker and easier. First you simply go to the Learnclick website and click on 'Create a Cloze Test'. Once you have done this you simply type in the title of your text and either type in or copy paste in the text that you want to work with (I've chosen a short story from Andrew Wright's marvelous blog).
Top 10 Fonts Web Designers Love When I was starting out with Web and graphic design, I was always wondering about the fonts that real designers use. So I conducted a research to find out the most popular fonts designers like to use, their best practices, and also out of personal curiosity, their typographical needs. It would be nice to know which font is good for which situation and today I am sharing with you the results of my research. Through a combination of data collected from Polldaddy, Forrst, Facebook and Twitter, I got feedback from 34 designers from 14 countries answering questions about their favorite fonts and explaining to me why they love them. By analysing all the input submitted I have uncovered some interesting information, which has been put together in an infographic by friends in Piktochart.
