PingPong - A Quickfire Audience Response AFL App PingPong is a very simple audience-response tool that enables quick interaction with a class using any device. Unlike Socrative or Kahoot, you don’t need to create any questions within the app. PingPong is designed to be used alongside ad-hoc questions written on a whiteboard or as part of a PowerPoint presentation. The host creates a room (needs a Google or a Facebook login) and gets a room code. New Bloom's Taxonomy Poster for Teachers August 29, 2014 Bloom's taxonomy is one of the most popular learning taxonomies ever. Since its release in the last half of the 20th century, it has been widely adopted within the education sector and was used extensively to design and create learning materials and curriculum content. Bloom's taxonomy maps out learning skills along a thinking continuum that starts with lower order thinking skills in one end (e.g. remembering and understanding) and moves up in difficulty to the other end that embraces higher order thinking skills (e.g. evaluating and creating). However, Bloom's taxonomy has been repeatedly modified to suit the requirements of the era in which it is used .

A new survey on mobile learning from Project Tomorrow shows that today's schools are relying increasingly on students having experience with devices like smartphones and tablets to engage in modern curriculum. Project Tomorrow's 12th annual Speak Up Research Project surveyed teachers and students at more than 8,000 schools and 2,600 school districts to gain insight on how these devices are affecting education.
