My Fridge Food - Recipes you already have in your Fridge Tailgate Heros: Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots - StumbleUpon Be forewarned. If you make these, they will disappear quickly! But that's okay. Tailgating is all about sharing food and good times, right? Bacon Wrapped Tater Tots Makes 4 appetizer servings 16 frozen tater tots 8 slices THIN bacon, cut in half sideways 2 Tbsp turbinado sugar 1 tsp season salt ¼ tsp cayenne pepper Mix the sugar, salt and cayenne pepper together thoroughly. Sprinkle about half of the rub on top of the bacon strips. Top each half strip with 1 tot and roll up. Place seam side down on a raised rack or a tray. Sprinkle the rest of the seasoning mix over the assembled tots. Preheat your oven or grill to 450f. Cook the bacon snuggled tots until the bacon turns crispy, about 20 minutes. Don't be alarmed if the bacon goes “boa constrictor” on a few of your tots and squeezes the heck out of them. Serve with your favorite BBQ sauce, spicy ketchup, or other dipping sauce. These also go great with a grilled steak burger. Perfect for tailgating or “just because”.

Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce {My Go-To Dinner Saver!} I am not (not!) exaggerating when I say this quick, creamy garlic alfredo sauce has changed how I view non-dinner nights. You know. The problem is, on nights like that, I just can’t handle the thought of dinner approaching and knowing I’m going to have to scrounge up something my kids will eat but I’ll probably find gag-worthy. Enter this sauce. We’ve made this no less than 10 times in the last month, and I have never, and I mean never, seen my kids gobble up anything so quickly. Embarrassingly, I have to admit, this sauce is even on the menu this week. Creamy Garlic Alfredo Sauce Note: I've only ever used 1% milk in this sauce and it works great for our tastes. Ingredients 2 tablespoons butter 3 cloves garlic, finely minced or pressed through a garlic press 4 ounces cream cheese, softened and cut into 6 pieces (see note above) 1 cup milk (see note above) 3 ounces Parmesan cheese, grated (about 1 cup) 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt, more to taste, if needed Directions

Brownie Batter Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes 98K+Pin It With Outrageously Rich Chocolate Indulgence Frosting. AKA The Mega. Extreme. Chocolate. Almost immediately after making the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cupcakes, I got the idea for a rich, decadent massively chocolate brownie batter cupcake, and I haven’t been able to get them outta my head since! To all the chocolate lovers in the house… This is for you. It all starts with the brownie batter – this is seriously one of my favorite chocolate batter mixes ever. It only calls for 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk though, and since I hate recipes that only call for a little bit of something in a can, leaving me wondering what the heck I’m supposed to do with the rest of it, go ahead and make this easy, no machine required homemade ice cream. Use your trusty 1.5 tbsp scoop to drop spoonfuls of brownie batter onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze overnight. The next day, get ready to bake the best chocolate cupcakes ever. Mmm, chocolate chips. But we’re not done here yet.

Homemade Black Tea Lemonade Happy first day of summer, everyone! To celebrate, I’m bringing you a recipe for my favorite summer drink. I was first introduced to this delicious concoction through Starbucks - their black tea lemonade. It’s also known as an Arnold Palmer. No matter what you call it, it’s delicious. I couldn’t find a recipe I liked, so I made up my own. Homemade Black Tea Lemonade Tea:4 large black tea bags (or 6ish regular sized tea bags)6 cups of water Lemonade:1 cup sugar1 cup water (for the simple syrup)1 cup lemon juice (from 4-6 lemons) Bring 6 cups of water to boil, remove from heat, add tea bags and allow to steep for 10 minutes. While the tea steeps, make your simple syrup: heat the water and sugar in a small saucepan until the sugar is completely dissolved. Combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, and steeped tea in a pitcher. If it’s too strong for you, just add some cold water! Serve over ice, with stripey straws, if at all possible. :)
