15 great HTML5 and CSS3 generators HTML5 and CSS3 are great languages to start off learning with, and I’ve always thought that one of the best ways to start learning is to just dive in and manipulate the code. As you could probably tell, this is where generators step in. They are a great way to generate some code, play with it, and learn. Not only that, they are incredibly useful because often times as a developer or designer we find we are doing things over and over again. As an example, I have a text-expander snippet that creates an HTML5 template that I wrote about here. I will say that most of this list is going to focus on CSS3 generators, simply because they are in demand more than HTML5 generators, and we will learn why. CSS3 Generators There is a somewhat negative connotation when it comes to these generators, and I have to say that as a designer and developer there is nothing negative about using one. General Generators This section will focus on generators that take care of the broad spectrum needs and usages.
DreamweaverExtension - zen-coding - Zen Coding extension for Adobe Dreamweaver - Set of plugins for HTML and CSS hi-speed coding Zen Coding is an editor plugin for high-speed HTML, XML, XSL (or any other structured code format) coding and editing. The core of this plugin is a powerful abbreviation engine which allows you to expand expressions—similar to CSS selectors—into HTML code. You can find more information on project main page. To install it you need to download zip-package of the extension, unpack “Zen Coding v.0.7.5.mxp”. Note: if you just double click on file, there could be bugs if you have different languages of OS and editor. Source code is also included to package. After installing you need to restart Adobe Dreamweaver (or reload extensions) if it running. This extension contains all Zen Coding features which can be done using editor extension engine. But the good news is that since version 0.7 you can expand abbreviations with Tab button! Except Tab key you can expand abbreviations with “Ctrl+,” as before. Vivimos horas intensas de aprendizaje y nuevos conocimientos en las 10 conferencias y dos panel realizados en el transcurso del evento, lo genial fue que para quienes no pudimos estar en las sedes era posible ver el evento y participar por medio de redes sociales gracias al streaming. Las conferencias y cursos realizados por el equipo de Mejorando.la se realizan por el interés en la educación y de satisfacer necesidades en hispanoamerica porque en ocasiones las universidades no estan al tanto de las innovaciones continuas. Viernes 24 Con la bienvenida de @stephaniefalla en las instalaciones de Microsoft se dió inicio el primer día de la conferencia, presentando el diseño del evento realizado por Rubén Gómez y el uso de colores dedicados a México.
