By splitting their faces in half and then splicing them together, he creates interesting new people that are sometimes quite normal looking and other times far from it. School is back in session, or almost back in session, and I am sure life is or will get busy taking kids to school, sporting events, extracurricular activities and pretty much anything that comes with the hustle and bustle of life. My mom was/is a huge fan of just throwing something in the crock pot in the morning and not having to worry about dinner the rest of the day. Thankfully, she has passed down that love to me!

ZooBorns The San Diego Zoo’s Mandrill group welcomed a new addition to their ranks last week. Female, Kesi, gave birth to a baby boy, and he is the first Mandrill born at the Zoo in over 14 years. Animal care staff had been watching for Kesi to give birth; but the night before, there were still no signs she was in labor. The next day, staff members said they were surprised to see Kesi walk out of her bedroom holding her new baby. “It’s like every day we would come in, in the morning, and think like there might be a baby – we don’t know,” Jenny Baublit, senior primate keeper at the San Diego Zoo.
