A marzo 2013 l'ultima versione è la 5.5, denominata Slacko in relazione alla compatibilità dei suoi file binari con Slackware ma è anche disponibile una versione compatibile con i DEB package di Ubuntu; al momento è disponibile una versione in italiano derivata dall'originale. As I understand it, Puppy's version of 'bash' is customised for Puppy's specific use; this is why many of the standard 'bash' commands just don't compute, as far as Pup's concerned.....they simply aren't in its vocabulary.
