(כתב: אורי מאיר-צ'יזיק) לפני כשנה פנה אלי יריב ספקטור היקר וביקש ממני להחליף אותו בועדת התקינה העוסקת בקמח. הוא סיפר לי שהוא יושב בועדה מטעם המועצה לצרכנות כי ביקשו ממנו1 , אבל הוא לא ממש מבין בקמח והוא מרגיש שאם ישב בועדה מישהו שכן מבין בקמח אז הוא יוכל באמת להגן על האינטרס הציבורי. לא ידעתי אז לאן אני נכנס – לא הבנתי בתקינה ובדיעבד מסתבר שגם לא הבנתי מספיק בקמח. אבל הבנתי שזה חשוב ויריב ביקש, אז אני קפצתי למים. מכון התקנים הוא גוף לא כל-כך מוכר לציבור הרחב, אך מדובר במוסד מרכזי וחשוב שמשפיע כמעט על כל דבר שקורה לנו – החומרים מהם בנוי ביתנו, הרכב הדלק של האוטו, מבנה הכסא עליו אנו יושבים ועוד ועוד… – כולם חייבים לעמוד בתקנים שנקבעים במכון.
Une victoire pour le domaine public : un cas de copyfraud reconnu par un juge français Le Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris a rendu le 27 mars dernier un jugement intéressant, dans la mesure où il se prononce sur une pratique de copyfraud, c’est-à-dire une revendication abusive de droits sur le domaine public. Comme le dit très justement Pier-Carl Langlais, le copyfraud c’est "l’inverse du piratage", mais il n’existe que très peu de décisions en France ayant eu à connaître de ce genre de cas. The changing nature of work Frances Coppola explores how increasing automation is fundamentally shifting the nature of work away from 'making stuff' towards personal services. One of the most interesting issues to arise in the course of the "comment-athon" on my post "The Golden Calf" was the suggestion that the link between money and work is broken, and indeed that there is no longer a reliable link between "earning" and working. This is a logical consequence of two things: firstly, increased automation of production means the number of people needed to produce enough goods to meet people's basic needs is declining; secondly, an increasing number of people do considerable amounts of pro bono" work that is directly beneficial to society. Of course, there has always been pro bono work.
