Gripping Tutorials on How to Draw Hands
Sharebar The human hand, for some of us, is one of the most challenging things to master drawing. It is important especially for those who are serious about pursuing a career in drawing. Here I gathered some tutorials from deviantArt that I think would best help those who are struggling to draw hands in various angles. Just click on each tutorial to go to the artist’s page and download the full size. HandTut By Ron Lemen The hands, along with the face should recieve careful attention. for one thing, aside from the head, they are usually the only other exposed part of the body. Secondly, they are equally as expressive in gesture, emotion and action. Because of the complexity of joints, masses and planes, along with their expressive nature, the hands can, and usually are, the hardest thing to learn on the entire human form. The first thing that most artists in training do wrong is they make the hands too small. Here is where the importance of head drawing comes in. Improve Your Artwork by Learning to See Light and Shadow It's very common for painting tutorials to treat light as an addition to the picture, an atmosphere-maker. We can easily get the impression that the object has a universal form, and then with proper lighting we can change the mood of the picture. The truth is without light there would be nothing to paint!

How to Draw With Perspective In this tutorial, we will look at photographs as well as drawn examples to familiarize ourselves with the basic principles of perspective and how it can affect your drawings. Perspective can be used to suggest the illusion of 3D elements on a 2D canvas. When perspective is 'off' in a drawing, even untrained eyes will notice. Using basic perspective techniques will allow you to manipulate your compositions to your favour; even giving fictional drawings a sense of realism. Let's make a New (Cmd+N) canvas and get started.
