25 Free Women's Dress Patterns
One of the things I love about our internet sewing community is the plethora of free patterns and resources. I’ve compiled a gallery of the best free dress patterns I’ve found while pinning. Most of the patterns require that you join the site to download them (which, in my opinion, is well worth it). Some of these patterns were designed by yours truly, but most of them are my favorites from BurdaStyle and smaller blogs. Am I missing any great dress patterns? Leave a comment : ) Please pin from the original source. Do you or yet?

Much of my early sewing has been thrifty – most of my fabric comes from the remnant and clearance bin at my local fabric shop, and many of the patterns have been self drafted or free patterns from the internet. It’s a great way to start out when you are learning and don’t want to invest too much in something that might turn out not quite as you are hoping ! Circle Zip Earbud Pouch Tutorial I use a little zippered pouch to carry around my earbuds since they are the fancy microphone ones and I don’t want them to break or get tangled. Some of you have commented that you are looking for some small, simple gift ideas. This is definitely simple to make, and a little more fun than the typical rectangular zippered pouch!

Making reversible bag from top of straps to bottom of bag: 50 cm / 20 inchesheight: 28 cm / 11 incheswidth: 40 cm / 16 inches I don’t know because I used leftover fabric for my bag. You can print the pattern and place it on your fabric to make an approximation. It is only one piece of pattern. Fort similar bag, you can check Charlie bag by Burdastyle ($1.99). It is a bit bigger and has squared bottom.

Candy Cane Marbled Monogram Ornaments I recently saw a marbleized nail technique on Pinterest and was so inspired to try it. After several attempts I finally got the nail technique down and decided to do something more unique with it. Taking the glass ornaments that I purchased from Michaels, I created a water marble ornament. You can check out my video tutorials on how to marbleize an ornament and how to water marble nails. I also created a monogrammed marbleized image by cutting out the letter A from a sticker (you could user painters tape, I just had this sticker on hand) with an Exacto knife.

From T-shirt to scarf In the winter I always try to add a touch of color to my looks, because usually I use very dark colors. And what’s better than to put color near the face to illuminate it? Create this fringe scarf from an old T-shirt. Recycle your summer T’s and give a boho-chic look to your outfit .You just need a pair of scissors! 52 Free Dress Patterns Posted on | November 7, 2013 | 19 Comments I’m a firm believer that sewers can never have too many free patterns.
