100+ Alternative Search Engines You Should Know If someone asks you, off the top of your head, what search engines you use or know off, chances are you’ll be naming the regulars: Google, Bing, Yahoo. There Will Come Soft Rains "There Will Come Soft Rains" is a 12-line poem by Sara Teasdale in her collection Flame and Shadow, published in 1920 (see 1920 in poetry). The poem imagines nature reclaiming a battlefield after the fighting is finished. The poem also alludes to the idea of human extinction by war (lines 10 and 12), which was not a commonplace idea until the invention of nuclear weapons, 25 years later. The poem reads:

HyperEpos Responding to the lack of genre-based sites on the web, I've gathered here an array of sites focused on epic poetry, aiming for the occasionally quirky as well as the canonical vision of the genre. Thus, links to sites like Perseus, The Labyrinth or Romantic Circles, with all their wealth of connections, are included at the bottom of the appropriate page. Your comments and suggestions for inclusion or updating are appreciated. Like all good sites, this one should be perpetually evolving, and appropriately enough, in the midst of things.

The chances are it's caused by Glycol Stearate or Glycol Distearate which gives a strange optical effect in liquid when it is disturbed by turbulence. This design was inspired in January 2003 when I was washing my hands after a long day derigging Glasgows Christmas lights. I squirted some liquid soap onto my hands, and observed the way the pearl effect changed when I ran a finger through the puddle of soap. Wondering if it would work if the soap was suspended in water, I added some water to the soap in my hand and stirred it up.

Chapter 1, Verse 1 Madhvacarya has no commentary so we present Baladeva Vidyabhusana's. To properly illustrate the consistency in the conversation between Lord Krishna and Arjuna on the battlefield, Krishna Dvaipayana Vyasa has quoted the first 27 verses in chapter one beginning dharma-ksetra kuru-ksetra refering to Kuruksetra as the land of righteousness. Now when King Dhritarastra learned that Lord Krishna had accepted the position of chariot driver for Arjuna, he immediately was suspicious and became doubtful of his son, Duryodhana's chances for victory.
