Yoga Postures

Yoga Postures
Be kind to yourself when you practice yoga. Go slowly, especially in the beginning, and listen to your body. It knows what it can do. If it says "stop," stop. Don't push it. Yoga is not a competitive sport. The chart below describes some of the fundamental yoga postures.

Micro role play – future conditionals and time expressions This game is designed to help students practice vocabulary as well as grammar. The lesson below was made for upper-intermediate students, but the same strategy could be adapted for various levels and ages. This is a ‘micro role play’ where students speak from the point of view of someone with a particular job for a single sentence. Preparation Ask students write a list of 12 jobs that are common in their town or city. They should work on their own for this part. 6 Simple Yoga Stretches for Daily De-Stressing We have a tradition at the Behance office called the “four o’clock stretch,” where we step away from our desks to do a few simple stretches and recharge. When energy is waning mid-afternoon, it’s pretty incredible how a little deep breathing and muscle movement can completely re-invent your mood. Below are a few of my favorite “office-friendly stretches.” They don’t require any special clothing, equipment, or training – just a willingness to take a break from hunching over your desk. 1. Square Breathing: Shake off anxiety and clear your head.

#54 – Writing Hacks, Part 1: Starting By Scott Berkun, Aug. 28 2006 (#54) Writing is easy, it’s quality that’s hard. Any idiot who knows 5 words can write a sentence (e.g. “Dufus big much Scott is”). It might be without grammar, broken, or inaccurate but it is still writing. This means when people can’t start they’re likely imagining the polished precision of the finished work.
