Even though it was incredibly hot and crowded, it was totally worth it to be able to experience a small part of the Harry Potter world. Walking through Hogsmeade was like being in another country, and I felt totally immersed in it. To me, layer cakes are baked bliss, truly. Don’t get me wrong, cupcakes are wonderful; cupcakes are sweet; cupcakes are darling (and perky), but they just aren’t layer cakes.
