Cookies ‘N Cream Oreo Fudge Brownies

Cookies ‘N Cream Oreo Fudge Brownies
Hellooooo, good lookin’! What a way to start the week! :) Last weekend as we were exploring Blue Ridge, GA, we stopped by this charming little bakery. They had all kinds of delicious looking homemade brownies. Oreo brownies, peanut butter brownies, raspberry cream cheese brownies… *groans* Kevin totally had his eye on the Oreo brownies. We didn’t get any there (we were too busy sampling the fried Oreos) so I promised to make them as soon as we got home. I used this recipe from Picky Palate for Ice Cream Sundae Brownies. Cookies and cream ice cream, chocolate chips, and hot fudge… It all gets added to the brownie mix! This thick batter is perfect for layering.. nothing is going to sink to the bottom here! Oh, baby. Come to mama. Layering the Oreos whole is totally the way to go! All these babies need is a big, huge scoop of vanilla ice cream. I think I’ll get on that. ;) Cookies ‘N Cream Oreo Fudge Brownies Make for: DessertTags: chocolate

Cinnamon Toast Rolls The USDA released its new food pyramid the other day (which is actually a plate now instead of a pyramid), and I am sorely disappointed to report that cinnamon rolls did not appear anywhere on that plate. I think by now most of us know what should be on our dinner plate in terms of healthy, well-rounded nutrient-laden meals, but it is my considered opinion that our breakfast plate should include cinnamon rolls now and then. And not just any cinnamon roll, mind you, but how ‘bout a homemade cinnamon roll hybrid that is a cross between a cinnamon roll and cinnamon toast, is super easy to make and gosh darn delicious. In honor of their ancestry, I call these little gems cinnamon toast rolls, and here’s all you need to make them…

printer.php from menshealth.com Eating 10 hot dogs in 6 minutes and belching the national anthem may impress your friends, but neither of those feats will do much for your body—at least not much good. Instead, why not train yourself to do something that may actually pay off? We're not talking bench presses and interval training (though those do help). Peanut Butter S'Mores Turnovers Peanut Butter- S’Mores Turnovers I’m not much of a camper. My husband often takes my son on camping trips, and I happily stay behind and thank the gods for our bug-free house, cozy bed and well-stocked kitchen. I always send them off in comfort… marinate a little meat for them to throw on the grill, pack up some convenience foods and bake a few goodies too. When they return from their camping weekends, I hear mostly about the evenings sitting around the campfire.

Cake Batter Chocolate Bark I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to share a recipe with you. Or to lick a bowl. The secret ingredient here? You may think I’m crazy… but it’s a spoonful of actual cake mix. All you must do is whisk it well into the melted white chocolate. Best decision ever.
