How To Make Perfect Brownies I’ve tried lots of brownie recipes: Boxes, scratch, frosted, plain, nuts, chips, fudge … Each of them has something to like, but depending on my mood I might want a change of pace. Not any more. My wife found this recipe, and it’s perfect. I’m done looking. This is the brownie recipe that I’ll use from now on. Foodbuzz 24, 24, 24: Chinese Buffet at Home It is no secret that I have an obsession with Chinese cuisine. The place that started it all was a local Chinese buffet here in Michigan. After frequent visits to the buffet over the years, I finally decided to take a stab at cooking my own Chinese dishes at home. The majority of the dishes were delicious and I began cooking different Chinese meals every week, but I had always wanted more variety just like the buffet.

Buffalo Chicken Bites One of my favorite guilty pleasures is buffalo wings, especially dipped in blue cheese dressing. There's something about the buffalo chicken and blue cheese combo that really appeals to me and I had a craving for it lately. When I came across a recipe for ham and cheese stuffed pretzel bites, I figured I could substitute it with chicken and blue cheese.

These delicious no-bake Chocolate Nutella Scotcheroos cookie bars are the perfect answer to those of us who want a little indulgence but don’t want to turn on the oven during this scorching heat. Central Illinois is under another heat wave and with tomorrow’s temperatures heading towards 98 degrees, there is no way I am turning on the oven. When I saw this recipe for scotcheroos with Nutella I knew I had to make them. I LOVE Nutella…it is almost an addiction.

Eat Well, Spend Less: The Art of Back-to-School Lunches This month’s Eat Well, Spend Less topic is all about back-to-school, from breakfast to creative lunch ideas to easy snacks to last-minute dinners. We’re breaking down the process of how to feed those school-bound mouths. In exactly 13 days, I will be getting ready to pack the first school lunches of the year. This year, Lene is joining the ranks of school-bound kids, which leaves me with three lunches that need packing five times a week. While this can be a bit overwhelming, I instead look at it as an exciting challenge, a chance to prove I can provide for those children I birthed, a stepping stone towards…Let’s get real.

Lovin' From the Oven: Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies Chocolate Chip Oreo Cookies I procrastinate from my homework the best when I’m baking. Seriously. 10 Gourmet Meals For $10 or Less photo: 10buckdinners.com Eating cheap is easy. Given $10 to buy ingredients for a meal for four, even the most hopeless home cook could whip up grilled cheese and tomato soup or a simple spaghetti-and-meatballs combo. Mongolian Beef I LOVE P.F. Changs but it can be a little pricy for what you actually get. I have been making this recipe for YEARS now and I always get rave reviews. Most people who have it say they actually like it MORE than P.F. Changs. Back to School Lunch Ideas and No Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies It’s been one week of packing lunches and I feel like my head is spinning. There’s so much to do in the mornings to get my girls off to school, but I think we worked the kinks out and will settle into a routine shortly. The girls love their new stainless steel thermoses. Caramel Brownie Cheesecake This is a monkeyhead concoction so please don’t be disappointed with me that it’s not 100% homemade. Sometimes as a mom you have to go with your childrens ideas in order to lift their creative wings. Monkey One loves cheesecake and caramel, Monkey Two has a passion for brownies you put the two of these knuckleheads together and look at what they come up with… Caramel Brownie Cheesecake. You gotta love the way these boys think.

Eat Your Beer! , it's not just for kegs, cans, bottles, and buckets anymore. It's moved beyond the tap into a whole new territory -- . While many have tried to warn that man can't live on the beverage alone, now more than ever they may be wrong. Behold these nine ways that you can have your beer and eat it too: It was inevitable really, since everything from Twinkies to tomatoes have found themselves sizzling in grease, but it took just the right guy to actually figure out how to do it. Beer is poured inside a salty dough, sealed in a ravioli-like pouch, and fried. Baked Egg Boat recipe Breakfast is my favorite meal. I like to drink iced coffee and watch the cream climb its way down the chunky ice cubes in a dazy before the caffeine hits. I like to order bacon with whatever I’m eating.
