Chocolate Ganache-Stuffed Cookies… You see these cookies? They look like pretty average, plain ‘ol cookies, don’t they? Well. You’re in for a treat, my friends, because these are NO average cookies! Brazilian Lemonade This is my most favorite drink. Ever. Maybe I’d feel differently if I drank (as in alcohol), but there is nothing I love more than a warm, breezy afternoon and a pitcher of Brazilian lemonade. I didn’t try it for a long, long time because I was very put off by putting sweetened condensed milk in with citrus fruit. It seemed very wrong. make-your-own-pizza party - hollywood housewife When we have the whole extended family at the lake each July, we each take a night to provide dinner, because otherwise trying to coordinate dinner for 25 people every evening is too arduous. This year my sister-in-law did a make-your-own-pizza dinner and it was so genius that I blatantly stole the idea and had one of my own over the weekend. It's so easy, and great for groups. Here's how I did it: After rolling out a big 'ole sheet of butcher paper onto my kitchen island, I plunked all the ingredients right on top and wrote the instructions on the paper.

King Arthur Flour – Baking Banter - StumbleUpon Love brownies. Love their shiny, flaky top that shatters into micro-thin shards that shower onto your fingers as you eat. Love their dark, gooey center. Their “chocolate nirvana” flavor. Sometimes can’t deal with the bake, wait to cool, cutting into squares messiness and fuss of brownies. Apple Rings With the hot summer months upon us, I have found myself buying container after container of fruit. Whether it be strawberries, blueberries or even apples, when it comes to summer I love to sit down with a big bowl of fruit and satisfy my sweet tooth. The best future sister-in-law ever went berry picking the other day while I was out of town. She came home with an over abundance of raspberries and cherries.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles Oh. My. God. If you could take perfection, roll it in a ball, and dip it chocolate, this would be it. How to Make Pizza Without Dough I was getting kind of sick of ordering delivery pizza (this happens at least 2-3 times a month). It was time to put a spin on gourmet pizza, but I just didn't know what it would be. Without pizza dough or an oven that is capable of creating the perfect pizza crust (I don't have an oven that can go up to a 1000 degrees), I decided I would use potatoes instead. This recipe is elegant enough to serve at a dinner party, but easy enough that you can cook it within 5-15 minutes. For 4 small, personal sized pizzas 4" in diameter, you will need: Cinnamon Sugar Pull-Apart Bread I’m sorry. I know it’s Monday morning and you probably came here for some pretty pictures of food that you could glance at, and then move on with your day… and here I go thrusting warm, soft cinnamon sugar bread in your face. It’s not fair. I know it’s not fair. I know that now you’re craving cinnamon rolls, and cream cheese frosting and chili fries and hot dogs.

Green Tea Chocolate Balls It's a simple recipe to make green tea flavored chocolate balls, using white chocolate. The sweetness of white chocolate is well-balanced by the bitterness of green tea powder. Yield: Makes 12 balls Ingredients: 1/2 lb white chocolate, finely chopped2 tsp Matcha (green tea powder)1 Tbsp milk 1/4 cup heavy creammatcha green tea powder for coating Milky Way Brownies Recipe I began the day yesterday with a desire to create some sort of candy bar-infused brownie. ‘Snickers‘ first came to mind. The thought of all of that caramel oozing its way through a mass of fudgy brownie sounded like a good idea to me. There was a problem though… NUTS were ruining my vision of the most decadent brownie ever. So I went the route of the Milky Way instead and created:Milky Way Brownies

Oreo Fudge Bars Well, first of all, I’m having a fantastic time in New York, even if it is our third time here in three years. We were in the city for one night, then Brooklyn for 2 nights, and now we’re visiting some of Kramer’s family in Westchester. I should also mention that Kramer and I got engaged on January 2nd while in Central Park! We won’t be getting married until after I graduate from school (December 2009), but we’re going to enjoy our engagement for now and that’s plenty of excitement for me. Thank you to everyone for all of the well wishes! We’re thrilled to finally be engaged after more than four years together.
