Y es que Art Clokey fue un un visionario que supo ver en las clases de su profesor Slavko Vorkapich, en la Universidad de Souther California, en 1955, la inspiración necesaria para sacar su primer gran experimento, 'Gumbasia'. De aquél primer intento, Art Clokey, gracias a la inspiración de su mujer Ruth, inventó a Gumby. Gumby es, por cierto, el personaje que protagoniza el doodle de hoy.
