Incorporating an Adobe Bridge Web Gallery For many years, Dreamweaver has had a feature called Create Web Photo Album. It builds a photo album quickly, but the result is—quite frankly—horrible. The code is ancient and bloated. Today’s Freebie App I found a freebie today on Apps Gone Free that might be worth a look. It’s a creative app called Makanim – Multi-touch Generative Art. It is available on iTunes for free, for a limited time. (Thank you Apps Gone Free!) I tried it out with my four-year-old Geo for a few minutes. The Open Organisation Of Lockpickers This is a repository of the most up-to-date versions of Deviant's lock diagrams and animations. Seen in all of the TOOOL educational materials and slide decks, these files are all released under the Creative Commons license. You are free to use any of them for non-commercial purposes, as long as they are properly attributed and the same freedom for others is maintained in all derivative works. Please note that these diagrams have evolved and developed over time. While Deviant is still proud of the older versions of his images, if you still have copies of legacy material they should all be replaced with the latest versions available here. Each image shown below in thumbnail form can be accessed in high resolution individually, or you can obtain the full set from the zip archive at the bottom of this page.

13 Signs You're A Bad Graphic Designer Posted on 06'07 Dec Posted on December 6, 2007 along with 90 JUST™ Creative Comments Yes, this is a controversial topic, however I hope to raise awareness of some mistakes you may be making in your graphic design pieces that are making you look like an amateur, but please keep in mind that none of these are hard and fast rules, this is only a general guide of things you should be aware of. Please forgive me for the graphic and bad grammar / spelling in the picture above as I’m sure you can see it is a joke :) (rainbow gradients, comic sans, bevel emboss, 13 not 15, bad grammar, off centered type – yuk) Anyway, I have compiled 15 tell tale signs that you may still be considered a (don’t quote me) bad graphic designer. Some of these have been taken from Robin Williams great book “The Non-Designers Type Book” that I recommended in the top 5 typography resources of all time.
The hand The hands are a notorious source of frustration. This section won't concentrate on the muscle structure, since the hand is very complex in this regard, and knowing this won't help much in drawing them. Instead, we'll look at proportions, range of motion, and possible simplifications.
