Large T-Shirt to Fitted Tee I have these two t-shirts that I love. They're soft, comfortable, and have good worn (and sentimental) designs on them. But, I never wear them for anything other than around the house because they are large men's t-shirts and look completely shapeless on me. A Gorgeous Gusset Resize 29 December 2015 A Gorgeous Gusset Resize I have two favorite colors: black and glitter. I have plenty of black in my wardrobe and I am always trying to add shinier, sparkly items; mostly in the form of sequins. These 38 Stratagems are excerpts from "The Art of Controversy", first translated into English and published in 1896. Carry your opponent's proposition beyond its natural limits; exaggerate it. How to make a draped t-shirt This cowl neck top is quite easy to make. It has only four seams and you can create the pattern yourself. The cowl neck comes from making the neckline of the shirt wider at the front than the back – this extra fabric hangs down creating the drapey neckline. The folds in the sleeves come from extra fabric as well, which is added by angling the shoulder seam upward. You will need: Measuring tape ⅔ yard stretchy fabric (I used a cotton/lycra jersey) Matching thread Sewing machine Chalk (or pencil and large paper to make a pattern) Pins (optional) The first step in making this top is to measure yourself.

The Power of Buying Less by Buying Better According to a recent survey commissioned by the British charity Barnardo’s, a majority of women’s garments are worn a mere seven times before being pushed to the back of the closet or tossed into the garbage. Combatting this wastefulness is at the heart of a growing number of clothing brands offering alternatives to so-called “fast fashion,” the trendy, throwaway method of selling clothes pioneered by companies such as H&M, and the cultural force to blame for the world’s overflowing and underutilized closets. Among the other startups positioning themselves as durable and ethical alternatives to throwaway fads are the online retailers Zady, Cuyana, Of a Kind, Everlane, and The 30 Year Sweatshirt.
