20 Terrifying Two-Sentence Horror Stories. I Didn't Think It Was Possible Until #5... When The Hair On My Neck Stood Up March 5, 2014 Ever since I was a little kid I've loved sharing ghost stories around a campfire which is probably why I love watching horror movies. And every single time I finish watching one, well, a good one... I kick myself for not picking out a comedy instead. If You Give a Mouse a Cookie by Laura Numeroff The Mouse Asks, the Boy Gives, and the Chase Is On! Laura Joffe Numeroff and Felicia Bond have teamed up on several children's stories. Many people will tell you that this is their favorite in the series. I slightly prefer When You Give a Moose a Muffin, but you'll have to decide for yourself by reading them both. Having had two sons, I always found them most delightful when they were the most physically worn out.

URL Masking There are numerous ways to mask a URL — meaning the URL in the browser's address bar is not the actual URL to the content. The example code in this article assumes the actual content being published is at the same domain as the URL in the browser's address bar. With extra coding, and excepting the Apache rewrite method, the content can come from other domains. (See Block Content Theft via URL Masking for ways to block unauthorized publishing of your content.) Causing the browser's address bar to show a URL different than the actual URL of the web page being viewed is one definition of URL masking. A second definition is to cause a link URL to show in the browser's status bar different than the URL of the web page being linked to.

Melulater: Modelling Books - how I use these to plan, teach and assess in my class Modelling Books were not around when I began my training to become a teacher. I didn't know anything about them really until 2005 when my school began their journey with the Numeracy Project. We had two facilitators come into our school to guide and support us in taking on the Numeracy Project, and part of that was demonstrating how to set up our modelling books and use them to aid us to teach a group of students. I credit Reshma (currently at Hautapu School) as being the Numeracy Project advisor who really started my journey with modelling books and my love affair with them. Anne, who was with the Literacy Project in 2006 and 2007 when I was at a school that was involved, and Tonia, the RTLit from Te Awamutu, have also influenced how I use modelling books for guided reading as well.
