Garlic Knots – For Superior Garlic Breath

Garlic Knots – For Superior Garlic Breath
When I was in High School, I thought garlic knots were the best things on earth. I guess I still kind of think that, but often I’m disappointed by the garlic knots I buy. I’m not sure if the quality of garlic knots has gone down in NYC or if I’ve become harder to please. These days, they are often hard and dry, probably from being left around too long. As with all bread-based goodies, the freshest way to get it is out of your own oven. These really are a reasonable amount of work, and easily doubled, tripled, or quadrupled for even more return. I’m assuming that pizzerias make their garlic knots with the same dough that they make pizza with, so use any pizza dough that you like. Parmesan Roasted Potatoes Ok fine. I’m officially ready to make the transition to fall. And I thought, what better way to do it than with my all time favorite Parmesan Roasted Potatoes! These are like candy. 100% addictive. Mini Pumpkin Pies in a Muffin Tin I love to bake in muffin tins. They are cute, bite-sized, and cook up so much faster. I’ve shared Muffin Tin Meatloaves and Pop Up Pancakes in Muffin Tins. Today, I’ve baked cute mini pumpkin pies in a muffin tin. They make for perfect individual portions. These would be a great way to prepare your pie for dessert this Thanksgiving. Cheddar Biscuits (Like Red Lobster's) (Food and Whine) It’s been ages since I’ve eaten at Red Lobster but the memory of those yummy Cheddar Biscuits lives on. Since I was making a hearty, healthy soup for dinner (recipe tomorrow!), I decided that I’d try to find a recipe for these decadent biscuits (since I was having a healthy soup, I figured I could splurge a bit). Unfortunately, every recipe I found called for Bisquick™ which is something I don’t regularly buy.

New York Style Cheesecake New York Style cheesecake is a creamy and dense style of cheesecake that is difficult to beat because it is so tasty. You can make one fairly easily. Cinnamon Bun Pancakes When two people tell you that these are the best pancakes they have ever eaten, then you know that they are good. These pancakes are exactly what you want when you are craving a cinnamon bun but do not have the time to make them. These are sweet, cinnamony and fluffy. To make something delicious over the top, instead of maple syrup (which is also delicious), top them with cinnamon bun icing. Nothing short of amazing. breakfast pizza My son’s favorite game in the whole world is Let’s Play With The Other Baby! You Know, The One We Keep In The Mirror. How To Make Perfect Brownies I’ve tried lots of brownie recipes: Boxes, scratch, frosted, plain, nuts, chips, fudge … Each of them has something to like, but depending on my mood I might want a change of pace. Not any more. My wife found this recipe, and it’s perfect. I’m done looking. This is the brownie recipe that I’ll use from now on. Ingredients

A brownie by any other name… Love brownies. Love their shiny, flaky top that shatters into micro-thin shards that shower onto your fingers as you eat. Love their dark, gooey center. Their “chocolate nirvana” flavor. Sometimes can’t deal with the bake, wait to cool, cutting into squares messiness and fuss of brownies.

The Brownie That Will Change Your Life Let me start off by saying that viewer discretion is advised for today’s post. OK now with the story that preludes possibly the greatest brownie I have ever sunk my teeth in thus far in my life. Last Saturday Mrs. Zesty had a baby shower to attend and she was designated for a dessert/sweet treat for the girls. Last week was a bit of a zoo and I think I forgot about prepping this dessert until Friday afternoon at work.
