Rondo bites – Weekend Bakery. These bites would also be an ideal part of an afternoon tea Dutch version coming soon… We can tell you with confidence, everybody loves these bites.

Rondo bites – Weekend Bakery

Rondo dough is so addictive, buttery soft with crunchy edges, like relishing fresh Dutch apple pie dough. The big challenge is to stop eating them yourself and preserve them for your guests. This recipe is an easy and fun alternative to the original rondo recipe, which is a bit more elaborate with the almond paste filling and use of the rondo rings. These bites keep well in the freezer too, so you can make them in advance and defrost 30 minutes before you want to serve them. Enjoy the bites baking! Ingredients for the Rondo bites. Rye Sourdough Crackers - 84th&3rd. I’m not sure I have the temperament for sourdough.

Rye Sourdough Crackers - 84th&3rd

I make up all sorts of crazy creations from all sorts of things and will happily bake yeast and quick breads with my eyes closed — but a bit of flour, water and starter has me quaking in my boots — or at the very least ignoring the bubbling bowl waving at me each time I open the fridge. You see, a month or so ago I made up a batch of yoghurt and olive oil whole wheat flatbreads but only used two thirds of the dough. The rest became my pet experiment…

No-Knead Oat Bread Recipe. I want to chain off an earlier review that noted the lack of height to result, in which KAF suggested overproofing.

No-Knead Oat Bread Recipe

First off KAF, I was trained as a baker, earned a living only occasionally as a baker, but have baked non-professionally for many years. And second KAF, because I don't want your feelings hurt here, I adore your products and recommend them highly. My learning taught me overproofing was baking 103 - quality ingredients are baking 101, and not mixing yeast and salt is baking 102 - and I believe I'm successful in assessing the right proof. Sheet Pan Pizza – Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. My kids are crazy about pizza.

Sheet Pan Pizza – Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day

I could really make it every night of the week, and they would never complain. Most pizza nights I turn to stovetop pizza because it is so fast and easy, but I’m finding the older they get, a thicker crust fills them up and keeps them happy. I received a copy of Ken Forkish‘s wonderful new book, The Elements of Pizza, and was happy to find a classic ‘Grandmpa Pie’ recipe on it’s pages. This pizza is parbaked in an oil-brushed half sheet pan, which helps keep the crust crispy without over baking the cheese. Toppings are then added, and the pizza is baked again and finished under the broiler.

Homemade Newfoundland White Bread – The Vegan Cookbook Aficionado

It’s been years since I’ve had any classic Newfoundland fare and even though Newfie white bread is just like most other white breads, it was definitely a staple in most kitchens back in the day. Whenever I think of white bread, I always think of the bread my nan used to make. It seems as though every time we would go to her house for dinner or just a visit, we would leave with these tender, fluffy, giant loaves of bread, that she just so happen to bake fresh that morning.

Bread Baker: Restaurant-Quality Naan Bread Is Easier Than You Think

I’m not much of an Indian food expert, but I knew enough to want a side of naan bread for dipping. English Muffin Toasting Bread Recipe

It's easy, it makes a stunningly beautiful loaf, it's got all the airiness it should, and most importantly, it tastes great---especially toasted! However....I couldn't give it 5 stars for 2 reasons: 1) the recipe MUST state that you should use a stand mixer for the mixing; and 2) the salt needs to be cut down as others have pointed out. I cut back to a rounded 1/2 teaspoon and it was fine with that. But about the mixer: I used a hand mixer and right away the dough started climbing up the beaters.

It climbed all the way up to the mixer itself and went UNDER the beaters where they insert into the mixer and therefore INTO the holes where the beaters insert. Q. What's our most popular recipe? A.
