A Rainbow Projected Across The World Anyone looking at the sky last week in Newtownards, Ireland would have seen a giant rainbow crossing the city horizon from Scrabo Tower. This phenomenon in the distance is the work of Yvette Mattern, a Puerto Rican-born, New-York-based artist who is taking the Global Rainbow around the world, aiming to stimulate social diversity by using it as an icon of hope. Mattern’s work consists of seven parallel laser beams representing the seven colors of the rainbow, and it was developed to be projected across large, open, densely populated areas. Mattern created the projection on January 19th, 2009 to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day in New York, where it was projected from the top of a Wall Street building in lower Manhattan.

Photographer Captures An Underwater Dance Of Colors The shapes displayed in Luka Klikovac’s work look like colored smoke, or maybe strange deep-sea creatures, but they’re actually mixtures of colored and black liquids immersed in water. The Serbian photographer’s photo series is called Demersal and was based on the unique motions resulting from the combination of fluids. To create this psychedelic effect, the photographer used nothing but his camera and lights capable of showing the dance of fluid shapes captured by his lenses. No digital editing resources were used afterwards, so what you see in the images are actually the precise moments when the two elements were combined. Klikovac said that the goal of his work is to create images that allow people to escape from their daily routine and that his underwater shapes should be interpreted like the Rorschach inkblot test.

Photo #1 by Teddy Llovet When Real Babes and Lolis are Turned to Anime Skilled artists of 2ch just made an animazing feat by showing what they're capable of - turning real babes (and lolis) to their anime version. Probably I'm more than light years away to achieve such mastery despite the hardships I've done practicing how to draw anime on paper. I desperately need apprenticeship to a master who knows how to do this! And yes before I forget! Images are clickable for you to enjoy the works of art in high resolution. Starts with Loli ends with Loli :)
