15 Tools for Animation If you’re interested in creating content to promote your product or service, think about making a cartoon. Producing animation has several advantages over live video. You won’t need a physical set, a camera, or a crew. And there’s a variety of free and inexpensive animation tools that will help even beginners to create polished animations in a short timeframe. As an example, here’s an episode of a SpaceHospital, an animated web series that I co-created. The episode was produced in just a few days, building three-dimensional sets, animating two-dimensional characters, and then adding effects.

How to Create a Virtual Tour That Includes Audio Narration One of the many things that Google announced to coincide with the ISTE conference was the addition of an option to add audio to virtual reality tours created with Google's VR Tour Creator. This is an update to the VR Tour Creator that was launched just a couple of months ago. This update lets you add audio to each of the scenes and points of interest within your VR tours. Watch my new video to learn how you can create a VR tour that includes audio. Whyte studies the physics of foam and told Colossal that his first geometric GIFs riffed on computational modules that he was exploring as an undergraduate student. To create his eye catching animations, Whyte uses a programming language called Processing.

Is there any hope to focus on the things that matter in a world that wants us to do everything all the time? Spoiler: the answer is yes. Director and curator of the art and virtual reality festival Recto VRso, Judith Guez is above all an artist-researcher. Always attentive to artistic movements, she also takes the time to create. During the month of July, she was the guest of the Villa Medicis, a prestigious artistic residency centre in Rome. She tells us about this trip after weeks of isolation and artistic residency. What is the Villa Medicis? When you hear its name, you can’t help but think of a rich history.
