At last The HugTrain launches its own mobile app on Android and iOS – well, iOS is waiting to be accepted but I see no reason why it won’t be! This is a great way that we can use technology to boost our well being and happiness and to connect with people – Its just amazing to me that The HugTrain can help people all year round now. If you know me, you know I’ve been a little involved with The HugTrain – (see Who needs a hug) since I met founder Arie Moyal and have tried to help out, as there are many things that need to be done before Arie even gets on the train, this year HugTrain was acquired, which has given Arie the extra help that he has needed at last.

However Lauren Bishop Vranch had found the bear (actually a lion) and posted the picture of the Lion on Twitter asking for help to find the owner. What is the Hug Train? The HugTrain is a rail trip organised by Arié Moyal, taking him around the USA, spreading holiday cheer and raising funds & awareness about mental health one hug at a time! This year, the fourth annual edition will take place from December 24, 2012 to January 7, 2013 in honour of the victims and survivors of the movie theatre shooting in Aurora, Colorado. Hugs for the holidays! The holidays can be a very lonely and difficult time for people. This is the 4th year HugTrainUSA is doing something about it! Travelling from coast to coast on the train, we hug anyone who wants a hug and we raise awareness and funds for mental health. We hope that in this way we are a bridge to better lives for people who think life can't get better and that they don't matter. Our charity partners this year are the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation and To Write Love On Her Arms and they will recieve any extra funds we don't use for costs.
