The writing of textbooks and making them freely available on the web is an idea whose time has arrived. Most college mathematics textbooks attempt to be all things to all people and, as a result, are much too big and expensive. This perhaps made some sense when these books were rather expensive to produce and distribute--but this time has passed. Professor Jim Herod and I have written Multivariable Calculus ,a book which we and a few others have used here at Georgia Tech for two years.Calculus

This textbook and Internet resource provides introductory information, concept or skill development in Mathematics for grade 9, 10, 11, and 12 students who are at grade level in a single student situation. Brief Description CK-12’s Trigonometry delivers a directed course of study in the mathematics of triangles, right triangle relationships, and the functions which describe those relationships, for the high school student. It builds on the trigonometry of right triangles, circular functions, and the intricacies of trigonometric identities, through inverse functions and the solution of trigonometric equations, culminating in vectors, polar equations, and complex numbers. It can also be used in conjunction with other directed courses in Mathematical Analysis or Linear Algebra as a full course in Precalculus.Algebra Text
