Never Be My Friend When I'm bored, I browse through my friends' Facebook images, choose my favorites, and draw them. Sometimes I take... liberties. Let's just call it artistic license. R.I.P. when I drew you looking like a corpse. I occasionally wonder why I still have friends at all. MILLION-DOLLAR-PC [MDPC] | the world's most beautiful computer systems
Past Meets Present Remember Young Me, Now Me? Photographer Sander Koot has created a similar series, called Back from the Future, where he places old photographs of people next to pictures of their present selves. “In this project, I ask people to find old portraits of themselves, of which they have good memories,” says Koot. “When talking to them about the picture, you see them reliving the happy moment. Only after I know all the details about the past of that picture, (do) we start the shoot." Update: We were able to get in touch with Sander Koot to ask him some questions about this project. Why did you create the series? How did you go about asking these people if you could retake their portraits? When visiting the people for the shoot (at their own homes to make them feel comfortable) I try to hear as much as possible about the selected images. While making the pictures I only try to pay attention to the composition and background, to match the old photo as well as possible. Sander Koot's website

Love styles Love styles are modi operandi of how people love, originally developed by John Lee (1973,[1] 1988[2]). He identified six basic love styles—also known as "colours" of love—that people use in their interpersonal relationships: Clyde Hendrick and Susan Hendrick of Texas Tech University expanded on this theory in the mid-1980s with their extensive research on what they called "love styles". They have found that men tend to be more ludic, whereas women tend to be storgic and pragmatic. Styles[edit] Eros[edit] Akin to limerence, eros is literally the love of Beauty. Erotic lovers view marriage as an extended honeymoon, and sex as the ultimate aesthetic experience. The advantage of erotic love is the sentimentality of it. In a genetic study of 350 lovers, the Eros style was found to be present more often in those bearing the TaqI A1 allele of the DRD2 3' UTR sequence and the overlapping ANKK1 exon 8. Ludus[edit] Ludic lovers are players. Storgic[edit] Pragma[edit] Manic[edit] Agape[edit]

Famous Movie Quotes as if Spoken by a Proper Englishman &124; ... Salutations, internet ne’erdowells. Since I was a lad, I have enjoyed fine cinema. In those days, films were written and performed properly. With a dignified vocabulary and diligent diction. Alas, those days have gone the way of the dodo. Therefore I have put my quill to parchment and rewritten some of the most famed movie quotations as a proper Englishman would have uttered them.
