PROJECT DRAWDOWN - If it is happening, it is possible. Special Announcement About Important Things! Drawdown is a book, a database, a basis for curricula, a digital platform, and a movement. It Design of Experiments (DOE) Tutorial Design of experiments (DOE) is a powerful tool that can be used in a variety of experimental situations. DOE allows for multiple input factors to be manipulated determining their effect on a desired output (response). By manipulating multiple inputs at the same time, DOE can identify important interactions that may be missed when experimenting with one factor at a time.

Introduction - rathaxes - project description. - Rathaxes, a DSL for driver developement A driver is a software which allows communication between hardware and operating system. Tasks like using a printer or a mouse could not be achieved without driver. Those softwares are very important and take the most part of code in an operating system: An operating system is composed by 70% of drivers; Some system like Windows provide generic drivers for common hardware; Often those softwares are made by hardware vendors.

Small World of Words Project Welcome to the small world of words project! Last modified: April 16, 2014 Voor Nederlandstalige informatie, klik hier The small world of words project is a large-scale scientific study that aims to build a map of the human lexicon in the major languages of the world and make this information widely available. In contrast to a thesaurus or dictionary, this lexicon provides insight into what words and what part of their meaning are central in the human mind. This way it enables psychologists, linguists, neuroscientists and others to test new theories about how we represent and process language. Current Project

Exploratory data analysis In statistics, exploratory data analysis (EDA) is an approach to analyzing data sets to summarize their main characteristics, often with visual methods. A statistical model can be used or not, but primarily EDA is for seeing what the data can tell us beyond the formal modeling or hypothesis testing task. Exploratory data analysis was promoted by John Tukey to encourage statisticians to explore the data, and possibly formulate hypotheses that could lead to new data collection and experiments. EDA is different from initial data analysis (IDA),[1] which focuses more narrowly on checking assumptions required for model fitting and hypothesis testing, and handling missing values and making transformations of variables as needed. EDA encompasses IDA.

Dancing with Data « Quasipartikel Last Sunday I gave a small workshop at the MapBox office, where I showed new findings I’ve discovered while working on my last visualization project. We turned a collection of countries into a dance of dots, each dot referring to a country in the collection. In other words: We created a simple animated Scatterplot. The goal was to implement a data-driven visualization where the output image is determined by the data and visualization state, such as filters and selected variables.
