After ten years of label history, over twenty artists contributing over thirty releases, we thought it's time to leave the arena. Founded in 2001 by Manu Harmilapi, the label started with vinyl releases by Cycom and Barth and quickly evolved into Germany's most break-dominant Drum 'n' Bass label. In 2005, Plain relaunched as "Plainaudio", a free netlabel for Drum 'n' Bass, Electronica and Experimental featuring artists like Alpha Omega, Cartridge, Macc, LXC, IJO and Martsman amongst others. Due to various projects, jobs, families and other commitments, we're forced to prioritise otherwise and close down the label for the time being.
The tracks on "Variations" follow the idea of making a "version of a main-theme", which you can find in classical dub-music. Equipped with reverb and delay sounds and based on a solid bass-grounding every track takes its own way. So please feel free to use the shuffle-function of you music player. Yuki Yaki is an artists' platform in the area of electronic media. Our aim is to make interesting works accessable to a public and to promote the artists.

For a few weeks this is the unofficial site for the distil label. Before we'll start properly, we put this temporarily site in the net to show the artists who plan to share there work with us and our users what sort of music we like to hear and what's the idea of distil. It's always difficult to show someone else what kind of music we like. We name a few of our favourites to give a direction what we imagine: Satie, Varese, Miles Davis, Sun Ra, Autechre, Tortoise, Yo La Tengo, 4 Hero, Pole, Snd (Makesnd), Mouse On Mars, Air, Kit Clayton.

Vintage Vinyl LP Records, although severely out of date, can be worth quite a lot of money if sold to the correct person. Most people see them now as mere collectables.

Tout d’abord, une production internationale. Coédité par Nowaki et NoSource (brillant netlabel de Boston), le mini-album de Parametic Delay (nk082) présente le travail d’un duo Indonésien (Malang, île de Java). La musique de Benk Robo et Dittea est intimiste, nostalgique, une pop-électronique naïve mais énergique, où le côté enfantin des instruments-jouets rencontre la technologie dans une production très fine et soignée. Pour la Fête de la Musique, la médiathèque Grain d’Aile de Carcassonne (Héraut, France) a organisé, avec l’aide de Jonathan Gowthorpe (Vompleud, Tuuli/Tulii), une journée de concerts sous casques (à la manière des "Placards" de Minkinen, le streaming en moins).
