Starbucks is Everywhere . Taking over the world with their muffins, their macchiatos, their passion teas… And, of course, their signature coffee Frappuccinos. Here’s a scary fact: one Starbucks Frappuccino contains 50 grams of sugar. That’s more than twice the recommended intake for an entire day . The number is higher for a venti, and it doesn’t even include whipped cream. (According to the Starbucks website, even their lite Frappuccino somehow contains 23g of sugar.)
A few months ago, I promised a marshmallow tutorial –WITH PHOTOS! – to Laura and Karen , to prove that, YES!, they can make marshmallows at home.
I’m siiiiick. If you follow Willow Bird Baking on Facebook or Twitter (you do, right?), you’ve probably heard me whining about it lately (okay, maybe this isn’t the best way to encourage you to follow).
Graham Cracker S’mores Cookies Graham Cracker S’mores Cookies with a graham cracker base, topped with a chocolate chip marshmallow cookie and chopped Hershey’s bars on top.
Good Thursday everyone!! I am practically jumping out of my old computer seat dying to share my latest cookie with you A week or so ago as I was making the boys an ice cream shake, I started thinking…..hmmm I wonder how vanilla ice cream would work out in chocolate chip cookies? Well, can I just tell you it worked, and it’s over the top INCREDIBLE!
I had so much fun developing this recipe. Talk about kinda dangerous though. This baby is baked in 60 seconds, no lie!!
Peanut Butter- S’Mores Turnovers I’m not much of a camper. My husband often takes my son on camping trips, and I happily stay behind and thank the gods for our bug-free house, cozy bed and well-stocked kitchen. I always send them off in comfort… marinate a little meat for them to throw on the grill, pack up some convenience foods and bake a few goodies too.

Posted on Wednesday, 21st July 2010 by Grace Massa Langlois I have yet to meet a person who doesn’t like Oreo cookies or Cream Cheesecake Cupcakes . Who could resist cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies ? Not Me! Especially the double-stuffed Oreo cookie , it’s one of the best cookies for dunking into a cold glass of milk.
Little bit of a mouthful there. But it’s like a cookie on top of another cookie! Yeah. Like total dirty cookie on cookie action. Except these ones down below wanted to try a few different positions. I dunno… they’re all mixed up.
I have been experimenting with different mug cakes every since I heard about them about a year ago. None of them have been winners. They were either too chewy, too dry, or not sweet enough. Well, I continued experimenting, and thought why not add some decadent Nutella into the mix. I modified the classic mug cake recipe, added Nutella, and a little more milk and oil than I had been using before. The results were beyond amazing.
Pre-heat the oven 180 degrees Celsius. Grease and flour a Battenberg tin. My Battenberg tin was 8inches x 6inches and had 4 individual sections to put the different colours. You'll need to make three cakes and each cake will comprise two of the colours needed - white/yellow, then red/orange and finally blue/green. Cream together the butter and the sugar until it becomes light and creamy. Gradually add the beaten eggs.
I am so in love with these darn chocolate lava cookies! What is it about a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie stuffed with decadent, rich, melted chocolate that makes it so irresistible?? Especially when topped with vanilla ice cream. These are one of Kev’s favorite homemade treats, and he usually asks me to make them at least once a week.
