Art of the Title. Untitled. We are living stress-full times: the virus, the lockdown, remote work, housekeeping, homeschooling. This is for sure draining our brains right now. Media and content coming from everywhere are calling for our attention. We keep binge-watching and scrolling down. But much of that content and virtual socializing keeps is just boring us more. And some of us are panicking, for sure. Thank god John Krasinski created Some Good News, but other than that, we are bored to tears.

It is difficult to focus and find inspiration among chaos and boredom. But boredom might also be the right ingredient to trigger creativity. Our brain works better with visuals. Most of the time when we sit in front of a blank page we find it hard to write those first words of the draft. Visual thinking is an exceptional technique that helps you visualize ideas, find patterns, connections, and relationships between them. “But I suck at drawing, I hate it” Don’t worry.

Into The Blue Creative Walks. Creatividad. Creative industry. Creative life. He set out to translate Elmore Leonard's stylish prose, dazzling dialogue, and knotty plotting into a weekly TV series--one that might exceed and outlast Leonard-based predecessors Karen Cisco and Maximum Bob, both swiftly canceled. Unlike those other shows, Justified was not based on a novel, but rather the short story, "Fire in the Hole.

" And also unlike them, Yost's show succeeded for five critically beloved seasons. In order to get this far, however, he and his writers had to go rogue, venturing well outside the margins of the late, great author's work. Justified is the story of Raylan Givens, a U.S. Scavenge As Much Of the Good Stuff As You Can I can’t remember how many bad Elmore Leonard adaptations I actually saw--I would sort of get wind of most of them and stay away. Even though it’s one we know well, there is no question the core aspects of this concept are difficult to grasp.

Creativity is a foundational and highly celebrated part of our reality and a critical factor of many modern-day careers, passions and hobbies. Many of us desire and celebrate this phenomenon, but the foundational aspects can be elusive. How does one become creative? What is creativity, and how do we build the creative part of our mind?

As we wander into this abstract wonderland of thought, we need to prepare to deal with some rather grey areas. It’s worth nothing that as a direct and independent topic of study, the concept of creativity as a whole effectively received no attention until somewhere around the 19th century! Unfortunately, I cannot tell you these will be your keys to creativity because it is something that relates to every person in their own unique way. 1) Am I Creative? 2) Break Down The Process. John Cleese on the 5 Factors to Make Your Life More Creative. By Maria Popova “Creativity is not a talent.

It is a way of operating.” Much has been said about how creativity works, its secrets, its origins, and what we can do to optimize ourselves for it. In this excerpt from his fantastic 1991 lecture, John Cleese offers a recipe for creativity, delivered with his signature blend of cultural insight and comedic genius. Space (“You can’t become playful, and therefore creative, if you’re under your usual pressures.”)Time (“It’s not enough to create space; you have to create your space for a specific period of time.”)Time (“Giving your mind as long as possible to come up with something original,” and learning to tolerate the discomfort of pondering time and indecision.)Confidence (“Nothing will stop you being creative so effectively as the fear of making a mistake.”)Humor (“The main evolutionary significance of humor is that it gets us from the closed mode to the open mode quicker than anything else.”)

In an age where new ideas quickly becomes commodity, creativity is a must. It is creativity that continuously give us new ideas to keep us ahead in the competition. Regarding this, I recently found an interesting book: Thinkertoys by Michael Michalko.

This book contains a lot of actionable ideas on how to become an idea person and get our creative juice flow. In chapter 2 of the book, Michalko gives us 10 tips to become an idea person which I find very useful and thought-provoking. In his words, these 10 tips are about “effective ways to pump your mind for ideas” which are also “exercises that will encourage you to behave like an idea person”. Here are the summarized explanation of the 10 tips: 1. Set yourself an idea quota for a challenge you are working on, such as five new ideas every day for a week. 2.

Fighter pilots say, “I’ve gone tone” when their radar locks onto a target. 3. Deliberately program changes into your daily life. 4. Select your readings carefully. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Brainstorming. Description: Brainstorming is the name I have chosen to use to describe techniques aimed at generating new ideas (e.g. game concepts, features, game mechanics, play mechanics, etc.) or solving design problems (e.g. imbalances, loopholes, control schemes, etc.) through spontaneity.

As a game design tool, brainstorming is not isolated to the beginning of the game design process but recurs throughout the entire process. While these techniques can sometimes seem a waste of time and non-organic, their primary advantage comes from structuring ideation and problem-solving (in a group or alone), which can save a game designer(s) a lot of time and energy.

In general, brainstorming is meant to: · Escape old convictions and assumptions. · Find new and unique solutions. Use: To use brainstorming effectively, there are several questions that you should ask yourself before using it as a tool. (1) How innovative do the results need to be? Is the brainstorm about new ideas or solutions to problems? · Theme. Reverse Brainstorming - Brainstorming techniques from MindTools. All Creative World | Daily Inspiration.
