I decided that I needed to make some homemade udon noodles to properly break in the bowl. It would have been a shame to eat store bought noodles out of such a gorgeous handmade vessel! Udon noodles are one of the many varieties of noodles found in Japan. My favorite bowl of udon was nabeyaki udon—udon noodles in a flavorful broth made from dashi and chicken stock, and filled with lots of vegetables, poached chicken, tempura shrimp, and a poached egg. For my handmade noodles, I decided to make Kake Udon—udon served in a broth, made from dashi, soy sauce, and mirin, and topped with sliced scallions. Stop buying granola bars & make these: no bake chocolate energy balls.

Buffalo Wings Recipe - The Best Homemade Chicken Wings Ever. First, fill the skillet about a third full of oil and heat over a medium heat. Cut the Chicken Wings in half so that you have a combination of mini drumsticks and double boned wings. Toss the wings in the seasoned flour and place in the oil, turning with the tongs to cook both sides and cook for about 8 minutes, until brown and crispy. You will need a platter guard or lid, the oil will spit. Cook them in batches, they will not all fit in at once. Set them aside on a plate with some paper towels on as they are ready. When all the wings are cooked, take sauce pan and add 2 tablespoons of butter, melt the butter over a low heat and then add 4 tablespoons of hot sauce. At this point, the wings can either be put on the grill or in the oven for about 10 minutes.

This ice cream recipe has only four ingredients, takes less than 10 minutes to make, and will leave you wanting more every time. Grab 5 fresh strawberries. You can use any fruit you like, or add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and top with hot fudge. Wash and slice the fruit, then put it in a food processor. Add 1 tablespoon of sugar and pulse until the fruit is pureed. Add the pureed fruit to a large mixing bowl.
Add 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons of powdered (confectioner’s) sugar to the fruit. Followed by 2-1/2 cups of heavy whipping cream. No need to mess up the big standing mixer for this.
