Rainbow Fishing Game - Free Pattern. A local customer contacted me to make a fishing game set for her grandson.

Rainbow Fishing Game - Free Pattern

She referred to one of my pins on Pinterest that turned out to not have a pattern with it (a second reminder to be careful what you pin). I agreed to make a fishing game in my own style and that's what you'll find below. The idea for a fishing game is not original, but the pattern is my own design. Olive - Crochet Octopus Puzzle

She is based on my FREE Crochet Amish Puzzle Ball Pattern, and as such comes apart into 3 segments that have to be assembled or “built” to form an octopus. Once built (and provided you use the suggested yarn and hook), she is about 12 cm in diameter, making her perfect for little hands to grab hold of! And the limitless colour options mean that you can make your crochet octopus as unique and as crazy as you want. The puzzle itself is fairly simple. But if you’ve never built a puzzle ball, it might take you a while to get your head around it. My friend, Pam Perkins, made a tiny version using #10 crochet thread and a 1.5 mm crochet hook. Crochet Octopus Puzzle Pattern This pattern is suitable for beginners, but you will want some experience of working in the round and increasing/decreasing.

Update 15/6/2013: I have now updated the pattern with additional photos. Materials Translations. Chloe the Crochet Cow Puzzle. I would like to introduce you to Chloe the Crochet Cow Puzzle.

Chloe the Crochet Cow Puzzle

She is just one of my many Amamani Patterns ( short for Amigurumi Amish Puzzle Animals). The Crochet Cow Puzzle is based on the original Crochet Amish Puzzle Ball, and as such comes apart into 3 segments, or rings, which then have to be re-assembled to form the cow. The chunky design makes her perfect for little hands to grab hold of and your colour options are limitless! Think cows are just cream and brown and black? Think again! Size Using the hook and yarn specified, Chloe the Crochet Cow Puzzle works up to 13 cm wide x 15 cm high x 15 cm long. Gauge doesn’t matter, but if the yarn you use is too thin for the hook you use, you will end up with holes in your lids. Notes. DIY: Big Dreams Dreamcatcher. Have big dreams?

Mandalas & Dishcloths. Modern heart crochet applique. There are many free instructions for crochet hearts but this one is unique.

modern heart crochet applique

It is a modern heart application with intentionally asymmetrical, so it has slightly curved sides. The heart is crocheted in two rounds. The first includes double crochet, treble crochet and double crochet stitches. The final round is made of single crochet, which provides a clear outline. I worked the hearts with only one color, but two colors would make an exciting effect too.

You find the written pattern in this free pdf-file: modern heart crochet applique Herz Applikation gehäkelt in Runden gearbeitet – crochet heart applique worked in rounds Zwei Herzen mit dickem Garn gehäkelt – Two hearts crocheted with thick yarn Herzen in drei verschiedenen Blautönen – Hearts in three shades of blue Herz in drei verschiedenen Rottönen – Hearts in three shades of red.

How to Make a Table Runner From Plastic Canvas Circles. Most big-box craft stores carry these intriguing PC circles, and they're handy for lots of projects.

How to Make a Table Runner From Plastic Canvas Circles

I love this table runner for its free-formness. All you need to do is stitch up a bunch of circles, and then put them together in any configuration you like – you could make a more circular arrangement for a round table. You could make a longer and thinner one for a credenza. See my point? These are the widely-available circles sizes: 6", 4.5", and 3".
